Well, I took multiple naps, drank a pot of coffee, and splashed cold water on my face. See you soon (hopefully today), Queen! :gaycat1:

She shouldn’t even be performing anymore. She’s more than proven herself. It’s not like she needs the money. She should sit back and enjoy retirement. Not even being shady. So many legends don’t get to enjoy later life - Michael, Prince, Whitney, George.

This makes me nervous for my show in a few weeks :dancehall: I'll try not to arrive to the arena too early.

this is what makes me scared to go see her. i would already be alone and can't imagine sitting there for hours waiting for her :dancehall:

It's just unprofessional at this point. When I saw Janet, she started only 10 minutes late. When I went to the orchestra this summer, they started perfectly on time.

Bruce tends to run a little behind, but nothing horrible (unless there are some external circumstances) The most egregious I've sat through was Cyndi Lauper on the Memphis Blues Tour. Everybody thought she was going to cancel.

but why 3 hours? what can possibly take so long? I can understand 45 minutes or maybe 1 hour, but 3 hours is just crazy

Her starting time is always a gamble, imagine assuming she's always on around 10pm and then on that exact date she decides to be on time :deadbanana4:

Performing is what she loves, this is how she chooses to "enjoy later life". It's never a "need" for her, it's what she wants and what she's devoted her life to. Yes, her always being late is unprofessional but let's not jump to say something as crazy as that she shouldn't perform anymore.

For everyone posting "you already know she starts late!" what exactly does that mean? Are you gonna take a risk and show up to her show 2 hours after it starts? No, you're gonna go at the right time anyway otherwise you could get royally screwed. And who likes to sit (or stand) in a hot, stuffy, uncomfortable arena/stadium for hours? An awful experience. God forbid you have childcare, work in the morning, relying on public transport, other plans. It's unacceptable.

Literally. It's a concert. Yall couldn't stay awake until 1am? She must still be in the UK... the bars, clubs, and restaurants would be packed here in the US after the concert.

I don't even want my concert to end at 10pm, yall got bedtimes?:deadbanana4: Well Madonna is nearly 70 and not tired,  yall will be okay.

People reply on public transport, like myself and I’m not paying $100 for a damn taxi because you refuse to start on time :cm:

Yes, this is unprofessional but I would tell these folks like I tell Lauryn Hill concert-goers: you knew what time it was when you bought the ticket. Madonna does this goofiness all the time and it's always the same 2/3 excuses lol. Don't spend hordes of money on these perpetually late entertainers if you have places to be/things to do the next morning. I would love to see Madonna live but on someone else's dime, not mine.

My show also started 2 hours late. Very unprofessional, but I had a great time

Personally I go clubbing and partying at late night. I have no problem with an arena partying at late night. It's more fun while still being there and hanging out with other fans and new people. She's not for early birds lol

NYC has one of the best transportation systems in the world. 24 hours subways running and trains all.

Taking train back home is no problem for me either. Nyc is so much fun to live in and party at.  The city never sleeps. Right and true

Going to a Madonna concert always involves a risk, so don't go or plan your day accordingly. We all know it's highly unprofessional but at this point we accepted that she likes to start late. One thing i agree with all is that GP has to be warned about possible late starts. That way people can take precautions or sell their tickets.

Maybe we should ask every city she performs to put a curfew on the days she performs so that she might start early. :cm:

Mate, you’re talking as if Madonna does you a favour :rip:

she needs to be called out for late starts like this. The least she could do is to be on time considering how much money she makes off people. Stop talking as if this is normal and okay just because it’s Madonna.

I mean people could make their choices for themselves. Freely.

No one forces you to go.

If they are not happy or possible to make it to her show, sell the tickets and stay home to go work early next day.

She doesn't make you come. It's not a duty.

She could still party with thousands night owls Who still go.  Why not.

Everyone has their own choice

What are you even talking about. It is her duty to put on a good show and be on time! Have you ever been to a concert where someone was late 3 hours especially if you got a standing ticket? Do you know what it means?
