Digitalism Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I mean most people know she is on that level It's the crazy swifties who think she is bigger than them who are dragged here 1 1

Gelato Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I think she does. The craze around her right now is on the same level as The Beatles/early One Direction/Cherylmania (the UK girls will understand). Even as someone who's not a massive fan of her music, she's had an undeniable impact in the last three or so years. 1
sasashite Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 She’s clearly the most iconic and impactful artist since the 80s. 3 1
Erreur2 La Nature Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 It's true but she has the commercial success and that's fine too. She probably won't be remembered in the future but she is popular these days and making a lot of money. 1 1 1
Revolution Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 According to Taylor, after every peak, she has received backlash. After Fearless peak, there was backlash against her writing and singing abilities. And she released Speak Now with "Mean". After 1989 peak, there was backlash against her calculated businesswomen abilities. And she released Reputation with "Look What You Made Me Do". So will there be backlash after the Midnights peak? And what will it look like? How should she respond this time?

We have seen the same with Beyonce stans working at NYTimes and TIME as well. If it's anything, it's PR or just trying to bring clicks sis Fans won't always be allowed to create such wild statements (altho it is deserved for some of them!)
vale9001 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 (edited) not every woman has to have vibes to be appealing to gay men at every cost to be validate. Cause maybe for someone it's shocking but gay men are men. As Time explain Swift choice recognize also a year where there have been a cultural shift where feminity culture seems to becameless and less recognized as weak and inferior. Gay men have a huge part with the straight men to these cultural representation. Taylor is not for the gay man love icons there are drag queens idea of women. Taylor is especially for women. And she has a kind of never seen impact on hundreds of millions of females around the world. As a gay man there is still a man accept it and move on. Edited December 6, 2023 by vale9001 1 1
Taylor fanboy Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Yes and that will be the major promo of reputation TV. ANOTHER 1M opening could be imminent if it happens.
on the line Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I hope so. I'd like it to be easier to get tickets to the next tour. 4
vale9001 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 (edited) In 100 years she still will be on history books as one of times persons of the year whatever Mark it's gonna write on twitter today I guess Edited December 6, 2023 by vale9001
perfillusion Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 The biggest artist of all time, a tough pill for ATRL to swallow but this year Taylor FORCED it down their throats and said "choke on it" 2
Cruel Summer Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 No, I think she’s finally above that. But I’m sure some people wish! 1
Aaron Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 The way OP butchers every single sentence they type to the point of illegibility needs to be studied. Anyway, yayyy.
Carry My Heart Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 There have been at least 10 threads with this title opened in 2023 and each one has failed to pin down a correct prediction. She just keeps winning 2
greento Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 She’s had it throughout her whole career, I think now her fans far outnumber her haters though and I don’t see that changing any time soon 1
Digitalism Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Everybody fades That doesn't mean there will be blacklash Fans will get older and the younger generation will get tired of that type of music like it always happen. Teens always find the previous generation uncool. Taylor will continue to release some mid and some great music. Hopefully she will have some perfect pop album before she goes back to folklore type of albums
Relampago. Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 When the Eras tour ends officially, I think there might be a bit of backlash from the GP for overexposure but the Swifties are literally like 1/3rd of the world’s population so she’ll be fine 3
