Nope. She's not incomparable to them in the world markets.

Her songs are unknown to too many. In my country outside of pop fans or younger people, most people doesnt know who she is. She's not big as you may think outside the us.

and her  no.1 hits are fewer than even Beyoncé and Rihanna in the most countries. Not even close to Britney.

The us media are just making her  their pr darling to make look bigger than she actually is to the world.

Not even grosses revealed officially. It's all cheap paid media play :fan:

This is what we call “vibes”. Meanwhile Eras EU leg will outgross every female tour in history.

Even if you aren't a fan, the stats all across the board are unprecedented...I can see that TIMES issue being one of its best selling ever.

Yeah, it's undeniable at this point. We've not seen an artist as big as she was this year.

She ended Madonno and is now coming for MJ's wig! The solo Beatles did that!

So you think MJ and Madonna were very popular among all listeners and older people back in the 80's...

Popstars are always selected by POP-ular music fans AND Young People.

Currently TS is the biggest artist in the world and this peak doesn't compare to anyone's peak in the last 30 years.

Not Britney, not Gaga, not BSB, not Beyonce.

The only one that probably can compare is Eminem.

Taylor is the 2nd biggest peak of the 2000’s. Eminem’s Peak was insane and by far the biggest seller and most commercial artist of the 21st century.

Taylor ain’t pass Prime MJ or Madonna. Yall kids need to stop that narrative. But she is easily far above her contemporaries. Can’t deny that

If Britney is the heir apperant to the Pop Qeendom as a result of using MJ’s baby batter with Madonna’s egg shouldn’t Britney have came out mixed race since MJ was black?

OT: Taylor is starting to become overexposed.

Taylor will surpass Eminem's career music consumption within the next 6 months while being a decade earlier in her career and at an all-time peak.

That and Eminem’s biggest year was literally just not as big as Taylor’s 2023!

No n she never will no matter how bloated her numbers get x

That's her problem. She's got big album numbers but none of her songs are that big and she has little cultural impact. Madonna had big album sales, several SMASH hits, big touring, the biggest impact on female pop.

Taylor checks off two boxes but why are her album numbers more important than Rihanna's SMASH singles and record sales? Why is Taylor the next Madonna while Rihanna isn't when more people can name a Rihanna song than a Taylor song :toofunny2:

8 Mile opened to $71M in 2002 which is easily $120M+ adjusted, way more than the Eras Tour. And it wasn't a concert movie. A dramatic semi autobiographical movie about Taylor would've done nothing close to that.

"Without Me" and "Lose Yourself" were also WAY bigger global smashes than anything Taylor has released... ever? Certainly "Lose Yourself" is easily bigger than any Taylor Swift song. Eminem's albums released that year sold 30M+ copies combined. And he also sold eight figures worth of his previous two albums.

It's HARDLY "just not as big as Taylor's!". Like the math is not mathing SIS. The numbers aren't numbering. You can't lie.

Boy you are a mess  :fan:

She will outgross Madonna’s entire tour gross, what are you talking about? 😂

I doubt any Swiftie will deny Madonna’s importance in Pop history but let’s give ceedit when its due. Taylor is the most dominating artist since prime days of MJ and Madonna.

Okay, it still wasn’t as big overall. She’ll still have moved more global units by the end of this year than his biggest year and you completely neglected to mention the touring situation. The numbers are numbering and mathing very clearly, sorry!

Taylor literally runs her career on “vibes” and her relationship to the number 13 is the biggest example so your reply isn’t the “drag” you think it is.

8 Mile opened with 51M domestically. If you are talking about global box office numbers, Eras film opened with 123M which is more than 120M.

And it is easier for autobiographical movies to do big numbers since there are many of them with +250M box office. Eras movie is the only concert film to make over $100M.

Many artists had bigger songs than Taylor. The thing is, Taylor's peak is not exclusive to how big her singles are. She is charting +5 albums in +20 countries weekly. Possibly 100M album units in 3 years. 1.5B tour gross. Time's Person Of The Year...
