illia Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Too lazy to watch the entire video but the video title is not a lie
Dear Reader Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 He made several points throughout the video. NO human being should have that amount of money to themselves. I loved the point he made regarding the merch. 2
Cruel Summer Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 It’s true! Love her and don’t think that having crossed a specific wealth threshold is a particular moral failing on her part, but we should be actively fighting against a system that allows obscene wealth and income inequality to persist. 3

Is it possible? Taylor is the biggest artist right now so there would be tons of thread about it since she is on top of the news. If you are sick of her, then log off. Who are you for us to accommodate you? OT: The thing is, Taylor deserves her billion and is constantly donating to charities and paying her staff and crew very well. You can't say those to other billionaires. 2 1

Feanor Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 It's definitely the biggest peak we've seen any artist reach this century.
MidnightsAtPeace Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Yet he's contributing to her being a billioner, simply by buying merchandise with each merch drop, and buying her concert tickets
Feanor Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 And it's a correct statement. Billionaires should not exist. 1
Jay07 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 (edited) I'm convinced the people constantly posting about Taylor genuinely don't give a **** about her music or art, they just want to brag about numbers and she just happened to be the biggest. I never see a thread about a song, a video or performance (mostly because they're mid) just threads about her being the biggest and selling the most SPS (whatever that is). Okay, you have the biggest one. Do you feel better now? Edited December 6, 2023 by Jay07 4 1 1
By the Water Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Ask him if he’ll stop buying her CDs, vinyl, merch or tour tickets though
byzantium Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 She has cute impact in the culture but does not have the numbers yet to satisfy this claim. 1
Heldenzeit Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I mean, I agree but will also buy another 4 vinyl variants of rep TV sooo...

You cannot compare Stationhead streaming to actual music consumption. Clicking “Play” and then muting your phone isn’t real consumption. Taylor is undeniably massive, but she sold fewer albums than Stray Kids this year. Midnights is nothing compared to TF+M, Baby One More Time, Thriller, True Blue, The Bodyguard Soundtrack, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Let’s Talk About Love, LZ4, Music Box or even her own 1989. It’s been years, babe. At one point you’ll have to accept that Taylor’s level of success is something your fave never experienced and never will experience. Otherwise we’ll end up with more posts like the ones bragging about Circus being ahead of reputation and claiming Lover would never pass Femme Fatale 3
OrgVisual Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 The Beatles achieved all that in just 6/7 years of their career, so one of the years must be bigger. We just weren't there to witness it 1

Let's get real for a second. What we can see is that she's achieved a level of success because she is a skillful master of business. She has succeeded to sell her narrative in a way not many have done before. Monetary speaking, yes, she is on top of her game. But as an artist, when it comes to her craft, how is she the peak of what an artist can achieve? Why would she be the peak of what an artist can achieve? Art is subjective, so that question will never be answered. Edited December 6, 2023 by Badgalbriel
