Because from those six five are below average performers.

Which five?

Which five?

Taylor, Katy, Rihanna, Xtina and Dua Lipa.

Really?

In terms of amazing powerhouse vocals, great dancing, command of the stage, and certainly in terms of outright feminine sexual energy. Who else? Michael Jackson? Madonna? Janet? I guess Tina...but she has a different kind of raw quality that neither Beyoncé nor Nicole have.

If not, name 3 performers who are better, and please use objective metrics, not subjective ones like “connects with the audience better” etc.

Honestly? She's pretty much on the same level with JLo. Beyoncé has a better voice, but they entertain people equally.

This has to be the most delusional take in this entire thread :rip:

EDIT: scratch that, second most delusional after the poster above you. I Youtubed some of the names and Taylor Swift is a better performer than the ones I saw.

She is.

She simply has the full package: incredible vocals, charisma, dancing skills, visual aspect of her shows and storytelling (eg Homecoming, Renaissance Tour, Formation Tour).

Hardly. She relies too much on the dancers and the wind machine. Take those away and you're left with an ok tap dancer who throws severe looks at the crowd to give the impression that what she's doing is of great importance. No mention of the unpleasant goaty vocals.

There's always a reminder that no matter how insanely talented you are, no matter how crazily hard you work to be the absolute best at what you do, no matter how many years of dedication to improving your craft, there will always be bitter, hateful and delusional people on the Internet trying to tear you down. So sad. :shakeno:

This post is so ridiculous on so many levels  :ahh:

1) Not only has she demonstrated that she is perfectly able to keep up with her back up dancers, but has also given amazing performances on her own. Take BET awards 2006 for example.

2)The wind machines are ESSENTIAL when performing with such high energy for long periods of time, otherwise she'd literally faint. You try dancing and singing like that without sweating like a pig and not gasping for dear life if you don't have a constant flow of fresh air coming your way.

3)Comparing her style of performance to tap dancing is so out there, like where's the similarity? Beyonce does a lot more with her arms and upper body compared to her feet.

4) 'severe looks' being a bad thing when that's literally the point of having a stage presence, showing confidence and commanding the stage.

5) if you don't like the tone of her voice fair enough that's subjective, but to use that to invalidate the fact that she's literally has the best vocal technique in mainstream music currently and has persevered her voice to amazing quality well into her 40s is just distasteful

I didn't think it would be possible to include so much bullshit in 2 mere sentences but you my friend have managed quite the feat.

not at all why?

Beyoncé sings and dances exceptionally well

Tina Turner was a wonderful one woman

show

Aretha played the piano had one of the greasiest voices of all time and broke down a lot of barriers by continuously showcasing excellence in countries where performers like her weren’t welcome (see Don’t play that song for me live in Germany I believe )

Ii didn’t say those were the top 3 they came to mind first but of course there’s  MJ Prince U2 and many more

But a case can be made for all 3 individually

As a solo act? She's probably top 3, maybe top 10 if we're truly factoring in all generations. But she definitely in the conversaton.

If we're factoring in bands though, that's where it gets tricky. There's a ton of bands like Metallica and Coldplay that put on incredible live shows even to this day.

The Janet Jackson erasure on here is crazy though. She gave both Beyonce and Britney the blueprint and hasn't really lost her mojo.

Yes. Along with Janet and Michael
