I think Brandon definitely has some connections with Scooter. It's fishy to see both Demi and Ariana signing with him, especially Ariana considering how big she is compared to Demi or the rest of Brandon's roster.

Why? Ariana fans aren't used to promo, big tours and what not. We know she's kind of limited and doesn't like to be out there too much, she's Ariana Grande so playlisting is going to be there no matter what, we didn't get anything more for her last couple of projects.

I think there's just not many large artist management companies anymore.

Even HITS reported back in September that industry speculation was Ariana would end up either with Brandon or two others:

Another tidbit that people seem to ignore: Brandon is credited as the co-executive producer on the Barbie OST, the other co-executive producer is a Good World client (Mark Ronson), and multiple clients of Brandon's past and present (Lizzo, Tame Impala, Charli XCX) landed on the soundtrack.
