Oh she ate up the AAB performance  (It was weird she sang the clean version except for the "like the g*dd*mn Kennedy" line. I'm pretty sure she sang that on accident since she didn't say it in Vampire nnnn.)

 

Vampire was spotty and I think it was the piano that messed her up. She didn't seem that comfortable playing it and messed up a few times, which probably messed with her confidence.

Anyways aside from that, vampire was a little bit sloppy but overall she sounded decent and AAB was a slay! I would love for it to be a single but idk how well it’ll do 

performing the hit and then pushing the album/floating a new single when the current singles didn't take off is a pretty normal strategy, no? it was simpler during sour because all the initial singles did well.

i always thought she’d perform one of the singles + an album track. i wasn’t sure what she’d choose, but i knew it was going to be a ballad & an upbeat.

This is also my issue. This is SNL. Mostly watched by adults and not kids. Nothing about her wearing a puffy pink dress looking like a middle schooler throwing a tantrum is appealing to adults?!
