ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 26, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted December 26, 2023 I need to listen to the cannons album. liked their previous one sending me tension is right below the extended but I heard good things about the extended and should listen soon
Renzo_ Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 This Is Why I agree with you. It’s not as great as the self-titled album or After Laughter, but it’s a really nice album anyway.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 omg not both Tension and Extension making your list Revamped was..cute? But kinda expected more from it
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 27, 2023 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 27, 2023 A more ambiental sound from Susanne, but it sounds just as excellent as her usual music. Her vocals are absolutely outstanding. A great return to form by Depeche Mode. Martin remains the king x A euphoric record, that's the best way I can describe this. The cover tho Timeless. Melanie is a bit of a clown, but her music is way too hated. I can see the vision for this one and I do think she actually had quite some inspiration. Evil is incredible, for instance. And the lyrical content is also nice.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 27, 2023 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 27, 2023 The top 20 will include only masterpieces, I fear it was very hard to rank them, so I am excited for the next phase of this chart. 22 hours ago, Mr. Blue_Shirt said: Hmm.. about that But it will be mention oh her album for sure OT: The way Tension Extended Mixes really elevate the album even more for me. Kinda wish other artists do it too ESV and This Is Why are my favorites this year too as well. It's such a good listening experience Boo regarding Mine's exclusion on your chart. Yeah, I think extended remix albums would be cute from other artists, but it depends on their quality as well. Some songs could sound very cheap. Stan ESV and TIW too! 21 hours ago, Alldeezy said: Carly + Raye + Bebe + Kylie + Miley + Demi + Paramore I need to actually listen to that Foo Fighters album .. I guess after Taylor I didn't really try to listen to the new album I think you'd like Foo Fighters' album! 17 hours ago, Kiss It Better said: Tension taking up two spots as it should! 8 hours ago, Tsareena said: I need to listen to the cannons album. liked their previous one sending me tension is right below the extended but I heard good things about the extended and should listen soon Cannons have their own style, but they are kinda good at it at Tension, but definitely listen to the extended version! 8 hours ago, worldwide angel said: paramore + kyliex2 ty ty x 5 hours ago, Renzo_ said: This Is Why I agree with you. ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 27, 2023 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 27, 2023 A very nice debut from Chappell. A bit long, but I don't mind that that much. A nice pop record. While I still consider this to be a great album, hence its high placement, I also feel that it's way too long. Fingertips should've been ditched. Hope she gets her Grammy tho x Okay, we can drag her for Style if you want, but a lot of the filler tracks got upgraded on the TV. The vault tracks are also nice! This album made me get into Duran Duran's discography, which was a bit underwhelming ngl. But it's a great album so far into their career, even if it doesn't have that much new material. I think it's time for the world to get into the Italian queen of pop. The dance bops she has on this album are immaculate. But so are the ballads. Also the transitions?? She ate!

TheWayWeWere Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 1989 (TV) is..okay? kinda expected more, but I guess it was hard to top already great pop record
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 30, 2023 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 30, 2023 If you're tired of the Arctic Monkeys (slay) and the 1975 (flops), check Inhaler out, they're very great! A very enjoyable rerecording, with upgrades for a lot of songs. Happy to have fully discovered Spellling this year! GUTS is a very enjoyable album. It does not have SOUR's highs, but it is overall a more enjoyable listening experience. Folk pop legends deserved more love this year, y'all suck. An indie pop/alternative record with a lot of personality and catchy melodies! Loved discovering this! Much much better than Jaguar for me. Truly didn't expect her to hit the top 10 for me and, yet, there she is. A very funky record, a bit reminiscent of Prince's work, but Q puts his very own touch to this. Maybe more people should release less personal records An absolute masterpiece, Caroline is such a well-rounded artist. I can't wait for what she has to give us next. I decided to be a bit objective, but in my soul, this is AOTY. It does have very few songs that bring it a bit down, in comparison to the top 5. But it's a stunning record, Kelly outdid herself on this one and I am extremely happy that she has this masterpiece in her stunning discography.

Flops such as I Wish You Would and I Know Places got massively upgraded for me. 1
TheWayWeWere Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 With Love From nice to see them on your list! I think this is my favorite record by them I think I still prefer Jaguar I, but both are amazing Chemistry is nice, but Idk… kinda forgettable , I think I expected more after all those years
