It’s utterly shameful that we live in a social context where an attendance/support of this nature will spark any element of “controversy”, yet it no doubt will. 

I’m not for praising billionaires for the bare minimum or for taking humanitarian stances, which should be a given, but props, as she definitely understands how the optics here from someone of her calibre will be interpreted. It’s more than what most in her position have done. 
 

This is a situation where her voice is more critical than her money right now though, & I wish she’d lend it.
