Nicki has a way of shading people and not being direct. Someone just can’t assume that someone likes them. And Nick acts like female rappers should be grateful for the Barbz as if they don’t see success without them. Doja didn’t need the Barbz to have a #1 global smash hit PTTR. Nicki needs to start being upfront instead of having all of these code names for things.

 

 

but anyways Nicki had said something earlier about how she does favors for people but they don’t return them so I guess she meant this. I thought she was referring to Megan but Nicki is never upfront and gets upset at speculations. Like even now she could have just been upfront. I don’t actually think they have issues with each other though from Doja’s perspective, I can see why she would think that. She shouted out Nicki on one of the most popular tracks from her album and even paid homage to Massive Attack but it was crickets on Nicki’s end. 
 

that being said, Nicki did recently like a video of Doja shouting her out at one of her shows. Plus doesn’t the fact that she sent Doja the song (assuming she did) mean that she liked and respected Doja? I feel that there’s more to this - Doja could have passed because she just didn’t like the song, which she’s fully entitled to, or because it doesn’t sit well with her current mindset to be taken seriously as a RAPPER. 
 

As much as I love Nicki, Cowgirl is quite a mid track tbh and would have been Doja doing charity.
