Also, are the issues with mixing spotify only, because i havent heard it yet on AM. (But im also not that far into the album). Idk, i like it. While the vibe of PF was party, the vibe of PF2 is something i would have in the background and just listen to while im working. Its very chill. Actually the album is giving very much this

which is what i listen to when i work, and probably why i like the album.

I’m not contributing to her streaming numbers so I’ll have to sail the high seas to listen to this one. 🏴‍☠️

Unfortunately this is a bad album, even worse, a boring one. Another flop for Nicki and it is gonna be tragic... She will remain a huge name tho, she has this strange ability to make herself feel more relevant and important than she actually is. Example: Lady Gaga has had way more success but Nicki Minaj is much more popular nowadays.

It’s giving Pink Monday.

The mixing is awful. There are no memorable verses. The Pinkprint and even Queen remain better albums.

I like it so far! But I will always keep it real... there isn't one song I've heard that can hold a candle to Barbie Dreams or LLC.

Queen album ate so hard only 3 tracks in.  I know she wasn't in the best place at the time but that is when the girls put out their best material for some reason. I'm happy she's in a better place now regardless of course!

The Queen album just set the bar a bit too high for me underrated and all

EDIT: "Dangerous Barbie" and "Everybody" are two discography highlights nevertheless (so far)!! :flame::flame:

It's... not good. It sounds bloated and directionless, which is on par for Nicki's albums ATP. There are a few good tracks in there but overall it was pretty forgettable :rip:Big Difference and RnB were probably the highlights on first listen, but in the former what is with her inability to make a song about something other than being better than all the other female rappers and saying "you need to respect me / these ******* is my sons"?? So unoriginal... we get it!

Like FR if all you can rap about over some "samples" that are random is 1) my pus*y is better than yours, 2) my husband is amazing, 3) I'm better than everyone else, 4) I'm very successful now after having a rough childhood (surface level details), then you def aren't the "queen of rap!1!1" Just the Memories was ALMOST a good song, but she chickened out by not saying something actually deeper or meaningful about how she's reflecting on life now -- right now it just reads like a quick highlight reel of things in her life

This was very McDonalds’D :rip:

the sampling was lazy asf, you can tell this so many of these songs were structured around a part that is meant to go viral on TikTok

No... you can tell the album was rushed and thrown together last minute.  She also did her fans dirty by having them pre-order CD's and vinyls with only 10 tracks, just to release the full 22 digitally. :coffee2:

I'm sorry but are you comparing a female hip hop artiste to a pop star thats now more known for her movies than songs? They're not even in the same lane and nobody thinks Nicki Minaj is more popular than Gaga. You really need to get out of that hole you live in. And I don't actually think you listen to hip hop albums at all. a lot of ya'll were expecting Nicki to drop a Doja Cat type album when that's not her sound at all.

It’s not the worst thing ever, some people are doing the most, but it’s not AMAZING either.

its quite bad. im so disappointed lol. I use maybe 2-3 songs??

not enough rapping, and the raps that ARE on the record are mostly mid, especially for Onika's standards. the samples.... the singing.... the messy quality across songs.... how bloated it is....

its like she's devoid of any taste, creativity, or excitement on this album. after i was done listening (3 times to be sure lol) i felt like I would've been better off having not listened at all :(((((

Listen to the rest sis. Review it

It’s disappointing and sounds unfinished and unmixed in places. Not many bangers. Perhaps some will grow.

She delivered a bunch of crappy samples that she barely tried on. Same types of raps as she has always done. No evolution. Minimal effort.

Gonna need a refund on my ticket to Gag City I fear

She 100% did

This album is kinda proof that sampling is an art form itself. Being able to take an old song and using it in a new one in a meaningful way is clearly a challenge.

this album is absolutely horrible.

did Foxy produce this?

Yeah...it's okay. Like a couple of good songs here and there but really underwhelming considering all of the hype.

And I'm so over the 20+ album track trend...I know its to increase streams but its so lame...learn to put together a cohesive body of work.
