Found it kind of boring for a Nicki album. I will use a couple of songs but I don't see myself coming back to the overwhelming majority of them. I feel like even Queen had more standout tracks than this album.

The samples are atrocious and the album itself is too long and for the most part unlistenable.

Nicki brings amazing energy to a feature but she can’t make a good album. The closest we got was the PinkPrint but even that fell apart hard in the back half.

Now this is the tea. She’s a feature girl not an album girl and that’s okay. This mid album showed that. The fact that her strongest output this year was for her Princess Diana collab with Ice Spice. She didn’t capture that energy on any PF2 tracks bar Everybody and Big Difference.

 

Overall, I’m very disappointed in this disjointed, clearly rushed album. Issa no from me.

She threw everything she had on the wall, and probably hoping that something will stick.

 

The samples were used so badly. The Heart of Glass and Girls Just Want To Have Fun usage were diabolical. 

 

Some of the songs feel so rushed, poorly mixed/mastered and sound very low quality. I am guessing she was trying to meet the cutoff. 

 

There are some songs that are somewhat enjoyable tho - Fallin 4 U and Just The Memories.

Overall: 3/10

It was okay. But the singles outshine the rest of the album. Red Ruby is the best song on the album, the rest I can do without.

No, I had low expectation yet I was underwhelmed. To me it feels more like a mixtape than an official album.

Well. Let me just be polite and say she lied about having the best album ksksks not even the best album of the night. I knew this was gonna be a mess when it hit me Billie wasn’t even on it and was used for clout and was just a chipmunked sample… then the uzi song with the horrible use of the sample…. It’s a terrible album, it’s mediocre, she has lost her mojo. It feels boring, uninspired, repetitive and it makes no sense why it’s called PF2.

What is wrong with this woman that she can often make great features but her own music is so often just bland? This album is mostly just straight trash. And the highs aren’t even that high. Years for this? Time to retire

Queen was actually kinda solid but got ruined with Maraj's irresistible desire to sing trash ass midtempo pop songs that go nowhere. This one is just... whatever

It actually sounds like if pink friday matured and had a b side, it would be this album. I just got to work and started listening, but barbie dangerous, FTCU, Fallin 4 U, and let me calm down are bops.

 

i think to many people wanted full on pop nicki where she gave us last chance, i’m the best, right thru me, etc., and calling this album kind set her up for failure for people expecting that. I’m only at RNB, but the album is solid. If i gave Renaissance a 7, i would give this a 5.5 rn so far.
