base talk Did Nicki Minaj Deliver With Pink Friday 2?

Nicki released the highly anticipated sequel to Pink Friday, which is still my favorite Nicki album. Barbz were saying this was the second coming of christ and better than Renaissance, idk if I'm sure about that.

 

What do y'all think? Did the so-proclaimed queen of rap deliver or not?

It’s a boring album that was hard to listen to. 
 

My final judgement: you can tell it’s rushed. The songs don’t mesh well together and some of the audio on the tracks sound distorted. Very unlike her to have unpolished records on an album.

I need to give it more time cause tbh it felt so underwhelming , didn’t like the way she sampled the songs it felt so lazy for a 5 yo album in the making but i will give it time to grow on me and let’s not talk about the features

The billie sample for the attn grabbing... like imagine that song without the sample..

i think the majority of the album is good and has some amazing highs like let me calm down, RNB and big difference, but theres some unnecessary songs on this. nicki hendrix and cowgirl and that intro song are not it. but the first half was skipless.

It’s hard as an ONMH but an avid PF TPP lover to say this album is low key trash. I wanted to like it but I only see myself keeping F4U (mainly because it sounded the most like PF). 
 

The last couple songs were good, but the features were boring and predictable, and all the samples did was make me want to listen to the original songs. 
 

Nick hasn’t put out a solid body of work since TPP imo and this just felt like a collection of droplets

Taste is subjective, I guess. To me, Think Later was toothless & boring & I preferred PF2, flaws & all, over it. The zany, eccentric unpredictability in PF2.. it’s ann album that could only be made by Nicki. Think Later could’ve been made by any pop singer from the last 20 years. I’ll take messy over dull any day. My experience with the albums
