Do yall not take a second and realize what you're comparing ?? You are the one jumping from topic to topic. First you started to talk about the US when the OP is about International box office. Then you implied that Eras movie is bigger because of children. And then you started to talk about race demographics. It didn't even perform bad domestically but can you explain us why it opened with only 6M internationally Edited December 4, 2023 by Artistofthedecade 1 3 1

I loved the RENAISSANCE movie and even paid for IMAX, but $34 ($29 without the taxes and convenience fee) was not the tea In my local cinema, the Eras Tour tickets were more expensive than the Renaissance ones. I haven't seen either film in IMAX so I'm not sure about those prices but I think both films were priced pretty similarly

Yet, isn’t that precisely just what all of you minions are doing here? 33/92M = around 35%. 6.4/21M = around 30%. The difference is not mountains and valleys so you people are once again ridiculous and highly insecure for no reason. Beyoncé was never going to do Taylor’s humongous numbers. Maybe take confort in that instead of being just insecure pains all around. 3 1

mrpartyrocker Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) You know you’re that B!TCH when you cause all this conversation Always stay gracious best revenge is your paper her lyrics being relatable in 2023. all in all, Beyonce the brand, made over 600m in 2023 with an album that was relevant enough to sell out a 54 dates stadium tour and a film released 23 dates before Xmas. And that’s 27 years into her career with no gimmicks or rereleases of albums. Y’all can stay bothered Edited December 3, 2023 by mrpartyrocker 4

I mean the Beyhive is talking about "Swiftie are all children" in this thread because there are relatively 7% more kids who watched the Eras tour than Bey's 1 3

BtDecember Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The holidays is coming so Renaissance movie should be able to take advantage of that, especially since the Eras Tour may no longer be showing in cinemas during the holidays

And even if so, you can never fully trust the words of an artist lol, whatever they say you need to understand are part of a much bigger discourse/presentation that they want to give to their audiences cause like it or not they are a brand they need to sell their product and their product is themselves. As I haven't said, don't comment on things you are not informed about. You could watch it (a) because it is a really good film and (b) because you'd be able to comment on it.
