We're still missing Brazil, and I'm sure several others

Yes, Italy Spain… not sure about Turkey but there’s many more. Some countries are still on a waiting list…

Nearly 70 percent of all ticket buyers were between ages 18 and 34, including 43 percent between ages 25 and 34."

So essentially Beyonce was competing against films geared towards children

The Eras Tour box office - 93M

Renaissance box office - 21M

25-35 demo

The Eras Tour - 32%

Renaissance Tour - 43%

Box office by 25-34 demo

The Eras Tour - 30M

Renaissance Tour - 9M

Turns out that The Eras Tour overperformed among millennials too, like every other age demographics.

Y'all need d!cks or v*ginas to suck (shout out to the lesbians). It's been established that Taylor's above any of her peers commercially wise. Stop the nonsense

idk you tell me you are the one that keeps calling swifties teen for the last 15 years 💀

Is interesting tho that in OTH conception of the world swifties are both teens and people capable of spending hundreds of dollars on her and her stuff

Genuinely convinced that damn price point was not helpful :skull: Taylor's was $19.89 (w/o tax) for all versions, even IMAX

Listening to Taylor music is the cure to aging! All the teens that started to stan her during Fearless are still teens nowadays 15 years later!

Yes the 40 year old moms still wishing they were living their high school romance dreams and their 5 year olds.

Anyways, the data is there in the article. Beyoncés audience is mostly black woman, gays,  and older.

Honey, Taylor is not Beyoncé's 'peer'. She is simply more commercially successful. She is leagues below Beyoncé or any of Beyoncé's peers, and she will always be thus.

Interesting that you conveniently clipped out the number of diverse audience members from my post. Wouldn't say I'm surprised by that!!!!!

Wait, really? Well, no wonder it would be struggling. It's not out everywhere. 6m isn't horrible if it's not out everywhere, but I really do think that price point is hurting people. Plus a lot of people are heistant due to that non-refund thing - which I get it from the perspective of the artist, but as a theater employee (mainly in Box, like 99.9% of the time), it's kinda shitty - especially if something happens to people during the concert (emergency or injury or something else).

I agree, the price was a bit much for a movie. I don’t even pay that for 3D. If you wanted to buy for yourself and kids you are looking at over $150.
