Not only that, but Beyoncé also plays a completely different card when it comes to marketing. She is not relatable to most. Taylor, however, always comes up as the relatable person.

I honestly think both are talented in different ways, but Beyoncé has a way to present excellence and carry through this in her artistry. That's not necessarily accessible for most people.

And its still an AMAZING product, so?

H&M sells more pieces than Balmain so H&M is better teas

Oh but Beyoncé is not selling luxury clothes (any clothes in general after her brand with Adidas failed), she is selling music and tickets

Also, lets not forget this is about to be the biggest opening for the time period of all time

Do you not understand what that poster was saying?  It's a simple comparison

There is no point in Swifties (or any fanbase for that matter) comparing Bey to Taylor. The odds are stacked against Bey as she is both a black woman and older.

Taylor also attracts a very young fanbase in a way Beyoncé doesn't so of course those fans were going to be dragging their parents to the film.

while this is true, Taylor's concert was affordable too. I loved the RENAISSANCE movie and even paid for IMAX, but $34 ($29 without the taxes and convenience fee) was not the tea :deadbanana4:

Every fanbase is annoying but swifties!!!

Is it shocking? It totally matches her Spotify performance.

So we're basing Spotify performance on how good you are as a performer? :deadvision:

They sell their products at a very different price with different qualities, in fact balmain is something exclusive only accessible to high incomes. What you are really comparing is h&m VS zara

Agreed! If you put everything in context, this is a movie about a middle-aged woman who lives in a 200 million dollar house who is allergic to peanuts and rose-scented parfumes....like what do people expect?! So when you think about all those things holding her back, this really debuted at no.1 world wide and should be celebrated not just tolerated.

…ok? :rip:

do you see how posting a shady/sarcastic response to a normal celebratory post has now made this interaction complicated and weird?

Never mind she didn't even drop it at the only real IMAX theater in Seattle, Pacific Science Center. I was so mad, it would have been amazing on that screen :jonny:

Most of the audience are grown ups. That's Beyoncé's audience for the most part.

Taylor's audience is mostly children and their parents, so of course it sees more attendance.

Who even cares? The film was incredible. My screening had the best vibes. We all enjoyed it, we weren’t worried about the gross.

What exclusivity is there? These are all films equally presented with similar prices in their respective context.

If she sold an exclusive experience at similar prices to the rest you’d expect more people to go to it as it’s well known people love to feel they are richer than what they actually are.

If it helps, it's a documentary/concert. It's worth the watch :clap3: Taylor's was JUST a concert.
