Oh did predictors really think that she would open with 20 M overseas? They let Bey PR game to cheat them. 6 M was way more possible for anyone who lives in real world and not in “vibes”.

There is no point in Swifties (or any fanbase for that matter) comparing Bey to Taylor. The odds are stacked against Bey as she is both a black woman and older.

 

Taylor also attracts a very young fanbase in a way Beyoncé doesn't so of course those fans were going to be dragging their parents to the film.

Agreed! If you put everything in context, this is a movie about a middle-aged woman who lives in a 200 million dollar house who is allergic to peanuts and rose-scented parfumes....like what do people expect?! So when you think about all those things holding her back, this really debuted at no.1 world wide and should be celebrated not just tolerated.

You talk about taylor swift like shes a spring chicken? Shes in her mid 30s and has been around since 2006/2007.  Taylor swift isnt a new comer, shes a veteran in the music industry at this point so using the age thing wont work here.
