Vogue was a showcase of Ballroom. Born This Way was a declaration for human rights. You Need to Calm down is a cute clapback.

thanks to glee, LGBT rights and homophobia were already hot topics in 2010/2011. lady gaga just successfully cashed in on it.

I wouldn't say that considering the single was pretty much overshadowed by the Express Yourself controversy and there was a huge drop in sales from the previous album, but yeah, Vogue is the winner for sure.
