Didn't he used to have a really bad drug problem? I remember when he converted he was directly blaming his drug abuse and sexual trauma on being gay and there were some pretty wild leaps in logic. Not normal thinking

 

Genuinely think he might have suffered brain damage from whatever he was taking at the time. There are a vew studies that show an indirect link between brain damage and fundamentalist thinking. Something about the prefrontal cortex governing cognitive flexibility and openness

Poor guy, this is what homophobia does to the world. Other guys marry girls and have children being homosexual/bisexual while deep down wanting to have a relationship with a man leaving their familiy neglected.
