discussion How do you think you would do in the Hunger Games?

I would not even participate. I would go to the center of the arena and just sit on the floor crossed legged and just close my eyes and accept my death. I do not fear death. I know my God has plans for me outside this earthly body. it is not the end of my soul. no it isnt. so kill me. Big deal. what is this life but a flicker of light in the cosmos of eternity? You want your worldly possessions, District 1? go ahead. shoot my head off. I'll be in pain for what 10 seconds? 10 seconds of pain to continue my soul's purpose. okay. if you do not learn to let go of earthly desires, let go of your physical body, let me tell you the hunger games is the least of your worries. your soul is lost. it has no purpose or direction. this is how the souls of the Capitol residents work. life is coupled to Earth. But not me. So ride, tonight. but dont you let go of my hand. you can cry every last tear. i wont leave till i understand. promise me just hold my hand. This is the song I will hear when Jesus accompanies me to cross over to the next part of my souls journey. So President Snow can do what he wants with my body, I dont care. its just a body. skin and bones. but whats in here? whats in my spirit? he can never take that away from me. so to participate in the hunger games is to give importance to the physiciality of Earth. do not do it. learn to live by the soul. not by the clothes on your back. have a great day.

I’d compromise my morals & serve waifish submissive bottom teas in hopes a corporate sponsor sends me supplies to try & ensure my survival. I’m physically weak & annoying. If they call me a 1989 TV track 17!, y’know it might be worth it for once. Middle to late out tho. I’m not winning

If I were there with other ATRLers from this thread I would win by default cause all of them would jump before the countdown ends or pray to god instead of surviving

i'm a good runner so i could probably outrun most other tributes, but that's it. i would hide and make it to top 4 or something but ultimately one of the careers would get my ass

 

edit: on a second thought, i am actually known for moving quietly and accidently sneaking up on people, so maybe if i could get hands on a knife or something i could sneak up on the final girl and win

i find myself a Snow like Lucy Gray did and he helps me win and i’m good at paintball so yeah. and also i used to take archery lessons when i was a kid but don’t know if i still remember how to use it well

it is not possible because game makers try to link all tributes together. katniss tries to do this in the first games and the game makers try to kill her

I would probably miss the top 10 just based on my strength, but if I apply some strategies, then I can probabley make it top 3. I think I'm pretty smart. Also I play fortnite/ call of duty everyday so I know about guns and how to hide.
