discussion How do you think you would do in the Hunger Games?

You are sent into an arena with 23 other tributes and have to fight to the death.

How do you think you would do?

 

Do you have it in you to attack the others to stay alive? Do you have any skills that could help you survive or gain the upper hand? Would you try to hide for as long as possible instead? Or would you just give up and accept your fate?

I lowkey wanna brutalize someone. Preferably someone evil like Cato, though if it came down to it I'd fight Rue too. I think I'd do great.

Id start off hidden. Let them trim themselves off and study which direction seemed to have the most traffic in the beginning. Idk if I could win but I'd be very good at setting up traps and sneaking.

There's mines underneath the tribute plates that are activated before the countdown ends to prevent anyone from jumping off of them too early. I'd probably jump off my plate before the countdown just to trigger them and have a quick death.

If I miraculously make it to the trees, I have a shot at longer than an hour. I’m good at hiding and keeping quiet out in nature (a family member has gotten into bird photography and makes me come along). But I’m not particularly strong, average fitness for an American, probably can’t remember how to shoot a bow even if I get my hands on one, and don’t know a lot about wild plants and fungi… I’d give myself a solid week max.
