Ow only two genres? Is this the new rule? I don't mind it tho

Yes! This was @Achilles.'s idea, based on the actual Grammy rules that limit how many categories where voters can nominate. Hopefully it could lead to nominees that better reflect the tastes of actual rock, country and rap voters, especially.

It's a good idea, though will country have more than two voters? :dies:

I need to think about what to choose besides pop. It's gonna be rock or R&B but I need to think about it

Seems the Summer stans couldn’t come to a consensus about a song…

You've got a tremendously strict definition of dance music.

I think the pop dance category here would be a hoot! And would allow songs like Rush and Padam a stronger place to shine and then some of the more dancey tracks can also get some attention

BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE

"2 Die 4" Addison Rae ft. Charli XCX
"Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" PinkPantheress and Ice Spice
"Candy Necklace" Lana Del Rey ft. Jon Batiste
"Escapism" Raye ft. 070 Shake
"Fly to You" Caroline Polachek ft. Grimes and Dido
"Ghost In the Machine" SZA ft. Phoebe Bridgers
"Karma" Taylor Swift ft. Ice Spice
"Never Felt So Alone" Labrinth and Billie Eilish
"Popular" The Weeknd, Playboi Carti and Madonna
"Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53" Bizarrap and Shakira
"Snow On the Beach" Taylor Swift ft. Lana Del Rey
"Super Shy" NewJeans
"The Loneliest Time" Carly Rae Jepsen ft. Rufus Wainwright
"TQG" Karol G and Shakira
"When the Rain Comes" Sugababes

Gonna be hard for me to decide between Raye Billie and Weeknd here.

Island being robbed in these for… River, whew chile. Will take next year by storm when it becomes a proper single.

I should’ve nommed WCS for rock chi

Okay, I will consider it, since these are actually popular categories. Having to decide between dance and dance pop would be a headache, though.

"Low" is in melodic rap and "Snooze" is in the R&B categories. Or do you mean in the general field?

Oop, I missed Low! Snooze is one of the smashes I mentioned; it’s fine, but she had better options. :cm:

No worries for this year obviously, next year it could have a cute debut with all the new Dua, Gaga, and others releasing soon

I tried. Supa did not approve, even though it’s literally classified as “soft rock.”

I’ll definitely be voting in country, and probably rock I guess. I have to support Sufjan! The temptation to vote for pop is strong, but Sufjan not being there and not being allowed to vote for both Padam and Tension kinda seals the deal for me voting rock. I think.

Hope pop voters will nominate both Kylie singles in Dance Recording!

Totally forgot to submit the underrated Unhealthy, cool to see it still made it in somewhere

Cute noms. Need to make sure I submit my longlist picks tomorrow or the day after, but these are usually easier until my lists are narrowed down between tough choices!

Little Jasononsters, we are RALLYING behind King of Oklahoma everywhere!!!!! Though I think its only split was Cast Iron Skillet (which is the second best song on the album), but hold strong.

Also Confidence Man for the win in Dance!!!! Or at least into the general field pick.

Classified by whom? Wikipedia users?

If they both get the votes, then they can still both be nominated.

Because of the limit on categories?

It’s in rock song. But yeah, it’s funny because Mitski is a past ATRL Grammy winner and now that she’s hitting the mainstream she’s getting ignored just like at the actual Grammys.

The most hilarious one is Zach Bryan being the only man among 25 potential Album of the Year nominees.
