Stray Kids Score Fourth No. 1 on Billboard 200 With ‘ROCK-STAR’

Plus, Chris Stapleton and Chris Brown debut in the top 10 with their latest releases.

Stray Kids ROCK-STAR debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated Nov. 25), scoring the Korean pop ensemble its fourth chart-topper. The set launches with 224,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 16, according to Luminate, largely powered by traditional album sales.

The act — who is performing on the 2023 Billboard Music Awards Nov. 19, and is a finalist in two categories — previously opened at No. 1 with 5-STAR (earlier in 2023), MAXIDENT and ODDINARY (both in 2022).

Also in the top 10 of the new Billboard 200, the latest releases from Chris Stapleton and Chris Brown debut.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new Nov. 25, 2023-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on Nov. 21. Taylor Swift’s ‘Cruel Summer’ Notches Fourth Week Atop Hot 100, Jack Harlow, Tate McRae Hit Top 10

Harlow adds his fifth top 10 and McRae achieves her first.

Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” adds a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Also in the Hot 100’s top 10, Jack Harlow debuts at No. 2 with “Lovin on Me,” the most-streamed song of the week and his fifth career top 10, and Tate McRae climbs 11-8 with “Greedy,” her first song to reach the region.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. All charts (dated Nov. 25, 2023) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Nov. 21). For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.

How have I never heard of them? They have 4 #1 albums?

This is probably a more organic #1 than the BTS/Solos fraud. I'm glad they broke a record. Good for them x

I wish Dolly would perform tonight. That would ensure a #1 next Sunday.

More organic where?

Before BTS hit their first #1 album in 2018, BTS already debut on hot 100 first with DNA back in 2017 and stay for multi week on hot 100 without funds/mass buying etc

(US Armys was small fandom back then)

while skz doesn’t have any song charting on BB hot 100 before? (At least until now, becase Lalalaa predicted to debut around #92 and will be out next week)

It’s a proove they only massbuying the album for a week or two just for photocards. and didn’t streams/buying their song :rip:
