there is literally no need to bully newer artists with lesser material out. tate is a talented artist and with some industry push she hopefully has a #1 album and top-10 debuting singles in her future

It’s not that it’s an insult, it’s just not realistic. No one is bullying newer artists, but you cannot compare them to someone that’s been around and consistent for over 8 years. It’s about the fact that Dua has established herself as a popgirl, had an amazing debut tour which by the way was bigger than some other’s popgirls with #1 singles and albums, is recognised worldwide etc. you just can’t compare. Compare new popgirls to other new popgirls, not Dua. Maybe comparing Tate to Olivia is more appropriate, but even then Olivia is miles away from Tate. Other than the fact that Tate is cute, has a few bops and can dance (not while she sings), she hasn’t demonstrated anything else.
