Why do I have  a feeling Taylor's lead will be blocked by Despacito still

#2 DEBUT HERE WE GO :fonso:

Ugh... I hope, that it won't happen, though.

She needs to release mid August, maybe August 18 because if earlier, I think Despacito will still be on its peak

She is not releasing before August 18/25th and Despacito will be half as strong then as it is now.

That won't be the competition.

But it still has lots of room to grow in radio

What is the competition then?

So "Shape of You" will tie "Love Yourself"s record next week of most consecutive weeks in the top 10 after debuting in the top 10, which is 23 weeks. And it will definitely beat it. How many total weeks do you think "Shape of You" can get in the top 10?

I'm leaning towards 28-30 weeks, at this point.

actually...CLoser holds the record for most weeks in the top 10 with 32 weeks

at this rate...it might very well beat that record

Streaming and sales can only go down at this point. It peaked in overall points either this week or it will peak next week.

Whatever blows up by then. None of the hits that are big now, will be that big then.

seriously...one of the only times I believe a song was actually robbed

One More Night spent 9 weeks at #1 and i believe it only topped radio :deadbanana3:

The gag is... no one cares about One More Night anymore. It was left in 2012 but it's not like Gangnam Style is celebrated either. I would be upset if GS was a classic etc...The whole situation is weird.

(13) Believer || iTunes: #6 || Radio: #13 || Spotify: #50 || YouTube: N/A || Pandora: #6 (=)

is it really possible for it to not drop despite the discount being removed?

Wait, wait, wait... Did Cheap Thrills by Sia (featuring Sean Paul or Nicky Jam) really don't top the sales chart component?

I'm really surprised by this fact, though...

It's still a good song naturally, but wow... I didn't know that earlier, though... :ace:

I think the week it passed Can't Stop the Feeling for #1, Rise debuted at #1 on the Sales component.

After that, as you know, Closer made history and it wouldn't have another shot at #1.

GS still gets a lot of youtube play and it sneaks into iTunes top 1500 from time to time

No way. It's top 30 on iTunes, #16 on Spotify, #18 on radio and #14 on Pandora. It'll definitely go top 20, at the very least.

Not for certain, it still has room to grow on pop radio.
