Her numbers are a bit alarming given the improvement in quality and Closer. Hope she's playing the longevity game though :clap3:

Didn't BADLANDS have better debut numbers? :skull:

That's very impressive to be honest. Some of her peers can't crack 100K even with a successful lead; makes me wonder how she'd do if the GP embraced her. She seems to have a strong fanbase.

Halsey number one debut with no major hit. Consistent.

um this kinda just isn't true considering how massive Closer was , even if it wasn't on the album

she had (unfortunately to my eardrums) one of the biggest songs legit in recent memory , and her album sales only went up modestly. doesn't look as tho she's really 'GAINED' that many fans or respect from the geepee but idk ! lol

At the end of the day, most of the GP doesn't care about EDM features, they just want a banger to play at parties to get drunk to. The Chainsmokers got a lot more buzz from their singles than the features, and I think that's definitely the case with Closer.

I personally think it's impressive that Halsey was a literal nobody before Badlands and her albums sales have been weirdly great for someone with little visibility.
