Bruno Mars is incredibly successful but his music is also always a slow burner. 2

But not sure how to compare his stats from when streaming was not as strong as its now, to Dua's stats. For me Bruno had slow burner because he depended a lot on radio when that was huge, because he never had great first week sales. Now.. Dua hits become hits because of radio or because streams?

I just hope you guys don’t go Houdini when she starts smashing again, some of us have jobs to do, lives to live and can’t spend our days tracking stats of artists we hate

I do get its meant to be more commercial but watering it down for pop did it such a disservice 1
