Bosque Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 It was like a 2 second comment in the middle of the performance, I don’t think it’s that serious 4
Losing my ground Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 (edited) She doesn't deserve fans or success anymore. Iggy Azalea was cancelled (in the real world, not just Twitter) for way less. Edited November 12, 2023 by Losing my ground
Breathe On Moi Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 idk why ppl are being dense in here it’s clear that the label is forcing her to perform it, and she’s acting out, I’m sure she’s literally sick of the song……reminds me of Britney during POM doing subtle things to piss the ppl in charge off. I get it. 2 1

I was about to school you about why Iggy got cancelled, but I rather just tell you to leave her alone and not get her dragged in here.
Anti-Hero Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 I'm sick of her dragging her pop songs that gave her a grammy.
burninredhot Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 I don't get why she acts as if Scarlet is a complete 180 from her previous albums tho it's very much similar in style to Hot Pink 1
Life Savers Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 This was semi-funny the first time now it’s honestly just kind of sad. Wonder whether she actually wants to keep being a pop star.
#Beautiful Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 pushing 30 and acting a loser and a fool both on the internet and during a show people (for some reason still decided to) pay money for. the definition of a loser 7 1 1

I get it. The reason she is able to tour at all is because the majority of the audience loved Say So. She can’t use the song to put her career on the map and then complain about it. Play the hit for the audience. And if you really hate it, maybe try a remix. 1
FireFade Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 that "cash grab" is one of the main reasons why she can stand and perform on these big stages 2

Kiss It Better Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 if she hates it so much then why is she performing it when she could swap it with Options or Like That

I get it. I get it too and I think that is part of the reason. But I also believe what she said about it being a cash grab and the attitude she has towards this and her more pop oriented material doing way better damaged her ego. Then the output in Scarlet failed to deliver for most people after shitting on both her past work and the fans she made who liked the past work. Edited November 12, 2023 by Gladiator
Dystopian Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 i mean a lot of pop girls have dissed their most popular work at one point in time
MaxMartin Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 (edited) Miles better than anything on scarlet. She's acting as if her pop-rap songs were **** when the reality is that they are really good, she's very good a it , just embrace your pop sensibilities and shut up. Rev8 Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Yall are really doing too much if she feels that it's a cash grab, who are we to attack her for it? Feels like yall hate on her because she doesn't want to give us the same thing anymore And why is ATRL so hateful at artist who hate on their previous work, they made it after all we don't know what happened behind the scenes and how they felt about it lol it literally doesn't affect us at all if an artist hates their songs or whatever, we still bop to them in the end 1 7
modeblock Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Reminds me of when Britney shaded Sometimes on stage SMH!!!! I'm sure it sucks that the GP chose this as your breakout single and forced you to rihlease it, but if it's beloved by your audience maybe STFU about it and keep it to yourself? idk it just doesn't seem like a good marketing tactic, Taylord would NOT approve.

Artists are obviously free to dislike their previous work. People here are pop fans first and foremost, and in her now deleted tweets, which the majority of us still remember, she criticized fans of hers (particularly those who hopped on during Hot Pink and Planet Her) for falling for her cash grab and simping for what she calls mediocre pop music, which most view as an insult to them. Then she followed it up by releasing a mediocre album and follows that up by continuing to **** on people for liking her pop music. If she was concerned about whether or not she was giving the same thing, she wouldn't have released an album with half the tracks saying the same thing, complaining about haters, to a chill lo fi beat. 1 2
