Bookmark so when most of her catalogues start to hit 1B at the same times :fan:
She is catching up real fast by the rate her streams are going.

Don’t you worry.  They will have moved the goalpost by then.

Taylor has 12 if you combine her OG and Taylor versions :dancehall:

Wildest Dreams - 1.4B combined

Love Story - 1.3B combined

All To Well - 1.1B combined (including 10m version)

You Belong With Me - 1B combined

I Knew You Were Trouble - 1B combined

How close are WANEGBT and Enchanted if TV and SV are combined? They’ve got to be next

Not everyone can get to 1B streams this many times without relying on features :alexz2:

Spotify doesn’t care and doesn’t do "solo" so why should you ?

These are her next 3 combined with TV and SV closest to 1B.

WANEGBT - 860M combined

Enchanted - 855M combined

Bad Blood - 750M combined (including remix)

Also, call out to the below 3 Rep songs that will be getting a TV soon and will definitely pass 1B combined once released.

LWYMMD - 987M prior to TV release

Don’t Blame Me - 850M prior to TV release

Delicate - 832M prior to TV release

Spotify doesn’t care about what songs I personally listen to either, should I just stop listening to music? Who cares what Spotify reports on, it’s a fun and impressive stat for fans to enjoy, it’s not that deep :lmao:

@Mystic Boy why did you react confused to this post? It’s simple math; 1st version + 2nd version = combined total of both versions. I know Taylor is the first major success story of releasing re-recordings, but it’s just 2 numbers added together.

Adele is the most impressive at the top of the list with a short discography, when you make worldwide hits. :gaycat2:

The stolen version and Taylor versions are both legit though. Just cause streaming platforms, Billboard, & RIAA doesn’t add them together, and instead count them separate, that doesn’t mean a person can’t do simple math. It’s a fun fact with Taylor fans since she’s the first artist to ever be this successful with a re-recording. I still don’t understand how there was confusion with simple math between 2 numbers :lmao:

She’ll outdo them in no time with the speed she’s going at

She is coming for the general crown in 2024-2025, counting male and female artists. TS11 is going to be SCARY.

I understand thank you. Still low amount for having so many albums more than Ariana and Adele combined.

What does it matter how many albums she has out? You can also make the agreement that since she has more albums her streams are more spread out amongst her fans and the GP. More albums doesn’t equal having more songs with 1B streams. An odd argument to make imo.

And it doesn't imply that other artists could achieve the same level of success even if they released a similar number of albums. The fact that Taylor is able to pursue her creative intuition and consistently release music relies on one explanation: she has the demand and the "unfloppable" factor, basically guaranteeing her label that the money they invest on her will come back.

Yes you can do it for "fun" if you'd like but stating she has 12 songs with over 1B is just false :bird:

Stating she has 12 songs when combining both versions is true though, and is what I said. I never said she has 12 songs over 1B individually. So still… why were you so confused? :lmao:

But you could also argue that releasing more songs increases the chances for hits. You never know what's gonna blow up on Tiktok, so having more tracks to choose from makes it more likely to be a song by Taylor. And constantly feeding the fans new stuff (or re-releases) seems to be a winning strategy in the streaming age. It's not a diss at Taylor to point that out. Drake is doing it as well. It keeps the interest going. I'd rather say that Adele needs reconsider her career strategy, because although she's got seven songs with a billion streams, and eighth coming soon with "Send My Love," just one of them is from the latest album. Either way, we should be celebrating women being successful at any chance we get, because it looks like streaming has tipped the industry scale to be more male-centric again. Behind Taylor, there's so many guys pulling most of the streams.

If your theory was correct, big artists would be releasing as constantly as Taylor does. I'm not talking about Adele, I'm talking about Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Olivia, etc. They all are not releasing as much as Taylor does, and the answer why is in the example that you are giving: even if Drake or other artists start publishing music as constantly as Taylor does, that doesn't guarantee them a hit.

I know it's not a diss to Taylor, but people really assume that this privilege that she's having is not because she is the biggest artist in the world, but because she is addicted to charts or whatever. No, artists can't release music as much as they want if there is not enough demand/safe investment for them.

Yes, but still the more songs you release, the more your streams are going to be spread out. That's why it has become rare for big artists to get post-album release hits. Once people have access to the entire album, everyone can pick their favorites and there's no focus on just one song.

That I agree with, and it reflects very well on her total streams that are blowing anyone not named Drake and Bad Bunny out of the water.

But anyway, I think it's just a matter of time before she starts accumulating these milestones to the point she'll be out of reach. She was simply 3 years late to the party.

And that is very well reflected by the way Drake's and Bad Bunny's latest albums are falling faster than expected.
