hmm, look what you made me do and send my love look likely this month.

after that, adele's next highest appears to be under 600 mil so ariana would be the main competitor going forward. with dangerous woman and santa tell me in the near future.

Interesting that despite having 14 albums she didn't have that many.

Even for a while, she broke streaming records with Shake It Off at that time

in 2014? lol. Streaming wasn't huge before 2014. It wasn't available starting the 1989 era otherwise half or all of 1989 are all above 1 Billion now

1989 OG would have had 6 songs over 1 billion streams if it had been on Spotify during its peak (SIO, BS, BB, WD, Style, OOTW) :turkey:

She removed her catalogue off Spotify to increase all musicians’ paycheck, including your faves.

Her streaming numbers is also evenly spread throughout her discography (relatively). The average streams per track is high, considering that a huge portion of her discography were released prior when streaming took off and that four of her studio albums have rerecorded versions, which divides their total streams. I hope you understand all of these.

I understand thank you. Still low amount for having so many albums more than Ariana and Adele combined.

This. The fact that the OG 1989 has three songs with 1 billion streams with the album totalling to over 7 million streams after not on Spotify on its first 3 years is beyond impressive.

- because majority of those albums were not released on Spotify, while her biggest album 1989 was never in the platform on its first three years

- Taylor has 10 studio albums, four of those have rerecorded versions. The original and rerecorded versions are both in the platform are literally eating each other since fans the the GP and playing either versions. Hence, it is taking longer for them to accumulate more streams. Also, many playlists still play the originals while her fans are mostly playing the latest versions. Sure, the rerecorded versions have initial advantage but it is also hard for people to give up to the originals, which they grew up listening to.

- not all Taylor's songs are for commercial. Aside from folklore and evermore, tons of Taylor songs from her earlier albums are over four minutes long. Also, these songs are also balads. This makes is harder for them to accumulate streams.

- majority of her fans BUY her albums and listens to their purchased copies (including myself). Unlike Spotify which would count stream whenever you listen to the song, streams are not counted when you listen to the album since you already bought it. This is why it is beyond impressive that Taylor is dominating both streaming and pure sales.

- fans and the GP are not focused to her singles, they checking her deep cuts which receives less promo.

Don't bother. Someone who don't want to understand why being removed from Spotify for years and having multiple versions of your songs (OG/TV) is limiting the amount of individual streams on each track is just being a troll. Even then, she's coming for the records of every single threshold of Spotify streams.

That's not even taking into account that releasing that many albums is detrimental for the individual streams of each tracks, considering the listeners have much more material to choose from. It's amazing for her total streams obviously (where she's clearly stomping), but not for individual streams.

Technically Wildest Dreams and Love Story do too if you combine TV and SV, which should count imo since they’re the same song :michael:

Yeah, no wonder they didn't bother responding. I thought trolls are not tolerated in this site.

At least it's on the first page. Hopefully they would have enough brains to understand all these stuff.

I Knew You Were Trouble, You Belong With Me, and All Too Well (if you include the 10 min version) all have over 1B combined too.

Not everyone can get to 1B streams this many times without relying on features :alexz2:

Bookmark so when most of her catalogues start to hit 1B at the same times :fan:
She is catching up real fast by the rate her streams are going.
