that would be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of people

How are they not already dead and buried when Taylor's been curb-stomping their favs for years now?

Literally and quantitatively the biggest female recording artist of ALL TIME :wanda:

Absolutely insane numbers but the fact that it’s still less than half of what 25 did :priceless:

I know the climates are different so this is pretty comparable to 25 but still. 25 didn’t even have vinyls or multiple versions like most artists do now.

#TS11IsComing

The ghost of 1989 will find a way to top that.

It’s absolutely insane that she has done this with a rerecording.. outdoing the original 1989. This is historic and unprecedented, I’m truly scared of her power :deadbanana2: it’s great seeing a woman break these kind of records

And the double that 30 did

I’m not even trying to be shady about 1989, that would be idiotic. I’m just laughing at how crazy 25 was. Get a grip.

I think we all know that it's physically impossible to replicate 25 open week numbers now...

1989 really saw Midnights steal its spot as her biggest opening week and said "hold my Grammy"

Following up one of the biggest albums in history while also not being available on streaming helps boost your numbers quite a bit

destroying her own numbers, with no video or signeds, oh wow

And I just know she will keep selling like this until TS13 :jonny6:

TS13 might even be her new peak, because of how important this number is.

2m opening for TS13, iktr!
