None of these things exist in a vacuum. Things like cancer and HIV will be cured one day by science.
 

Homophobia, racism and perversion are symptoms of human nature. They will never be truly fixed. To fix these things would mean to completely shift human psychology. To remove tribalism/in-out group think. Humans are also inherently sexual being. Just like every other animal.
