It might be insofar as the amount of streams it generates not comparing to Spotify's, but at the end of the day it's still a great way to market music since a video can change how people feel about a song with just one watch, or remind them of it, and then they go off to their streaming platform to listen to it more. Not to mention in this case, it'll probably make the morning television news and be promoted there, thereby giving it more exposure to demographics who maybe don't follow YouTube video releases and all that.

 

I would venture to say that when it is released, it would get more streams overall (not just on YouTube) than if it had not been released.
