Which producers should Taylor work with on TS11?

Despite many of us feeling the Swiftonoff collaboration has reached its logical end, I fear Jack will still loom large over TS11. They're even teasing it at this point:

Since Republic is obviously happy that she is back to pop radio darling status with two of her longest running hits yet Anti-Hero and Cruel Summer, I imagine the sound of the album will be quite commercial with a few songs designed to be hits.

But despite these both being Jack songs, I think she should try a new collaborator now because the Vaults proved that their sound is just getting quite same-y, and I say that as a fan of the large majority of the songs they've made together. Suburban Legends literally has the same synths as Mastermind just pitched differently. I also think the fact that they're best friends makes the prospect of him not being on TS11 in any capacity highly unlikely, but I would really like if the majority of it is with someone else.

I think Taylor is at her best when she is challenged by a new collaborator to fit into the contours of their sound. Just listen to the voice memo for Cardigan, the first song she made with Aaron Dessner after he sent her a pack of instrumental tracks. You can literally hear the creative juices pouring out of her in real time:

Despite me wanting her to expand to work with more indie producers like Ariel Rechtshaid, Rostam and M83, I realize TS11 will likely be very commercial and hits-driven. So if I could wave my magic wand I would have her work with Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon. They are behind Harry's biggest hits along with Miley's Flowers. In fact Tyler already worked as a backup vocalist and guitar engineer on Red (2012).

Definitely not Jack Antonoff :gaylorcat2:

I think there is still more than Aaron has to offer. Lots of untapped potential there.

It would be also be cool to see her working with Imogen Heap, The 1975 (not likely now), and Max Martin again. Maybe Frank Dukes and Louis Bell.

Yeah, i agree with the 1st part but the last bit, please don’t jinx it. I’d take another full album produced by Jack than to have to listen to songs produced by Tyler Johnson & Kid Harpoon. They’re AWFUL producers. Flowers is ok but the rest of ESV & Harry’s House are just so awful (for my taste) :rip:

This should be her first entirely Jack Antonoff produced album. Just the two of them :alexz3:

Well, if we exclude the 3 deluxe songs roduced by Aaron, Midnights was the 1st full Taylor album produced entirely by Jack

I would like her to go back to working with Max and Shellback. Stuart Price and Ian Kirkpatrick would be interesting too. Also anyone from PC Music. The HAIM girls and Rostam and Ariel Rechtshaid would be cool too.

She has a plethora of people she could work with and I just kind of think limiting to Jack Antonoff will become a bit redundant sooner rather than later.
