I honestly can say it really doesnt matter and kind of plays into the release tbh. This will only reach a very select few people anyway and due to its quality spark positive reception.

Also, Houdini is a song thats gonna be on loop for quite some time anyway, its that good!

This is risky for the US. They could reject it from the get go.

US will like anything which is shoved down their throat, so if they pay enough for radio spins and promo, it will be successful

 

DSN was not that risky as everyone's think, this type of funk/pop with disco elements was popular already since Uptown Funk was released in 2014 and was slowly progressing to pop music

Don't loop the song - create/find a playlist with the song and mix it with 2-3 other songs; also it's better to switch playlists sometimes, because if you constantly stream one playlist on your account, the streams will get filtered

Don't mute the song

Listen at least 30 seconds

This is exactly something which would fit into final chorus. Imagine this guitar with some distortion effect on it, plus the synth from the bridge and some strings and drum riser at the end and BOOM there it goes.

 

Why are producers afraid to make dramatic final chorus these days?
