This is not even a comeback  she was slaying WW with DTN till last month  without big promo (no performance) and just under her name she managed to debut equal or better than all of her singles and we know that she serves longevity

The first week numbers seem great overall. Now, the next two weeks are going to be a nightmare since numbers will decrease slowly, then it will stabilize, and only until more promo, performances and when January kicks in we'll know what kind of hit this is

Except it is and was treated as such? We got the sm blackout, the album covers changing, new hairstyle etc etc. This is obviously the launch of a new era and they indeed fumbled it by not having her perform and by releasing an underwhelming mv

Of course it’s a new era! You can do a sm blackout but if you are smashing with a single while doing it you can’t pretend that the GP (not the fans or music addicted or haters) knows that it’s an actual comeback. I mean, people that just listen to the music on the radio doesn’t even get the gap between FN era and the new era 

 

 

btw we are commenting a single that debuted top20 or better everywhere. 
almost top 10 in the US without being a song that appeal that market, top2 in the UK and top3 Global WW.

The meltdowns and the drags shouldn’t been allowed.

History is repeating itself with these Dua threads  I remember when DSN came out and the antis back then were saying it had “no chance” of being a hit in NA since America ditched disco. DSN suffered the same abysmal weekend updates in Nov and they all joked about her having a sophomore slump just for it to blow up in 2020 and become one of her career highlights, it’s embarrassing that we even entertain these haters.
