Ya getting mad and down voting some people yelling racism as a reason yet the only non white person to hit 1mil in the last decade is Drake. Before that was 50 Cent :rip:

The last Black Female to hit 1Million was Whitney Houston.....30 years ago ( the Bodyguard)

There have been 21 albums that hit 1mil since then and only two others than been non-white.

So why is this question asked again?

selling albums with pizzas, selling them for 99 cent, reissuing them in several different vinyl colours none of that sounds like tactics bey would resort too to hit 1m so probably never.

Beyoncé music is polarising and not gp friendly anymore, which is great because sure serves quality. For her to achieve this she will have to release another album like I am Sasha fierce, release 20 versions of it , and hopefully have rabid fans that are willing to buy 10 versions of the same thing.

She did it back in 2013 if you consider ST had only 3 days (600K) sales counted towards it's first week.

Well she more or less had it in 2013.  Didn’t that sell more than 1 million in its first 7 days?

But maybe she could consider being a songwriter.  The people seem to love Adele, Taylor, Sza, and Olivia.

With the newest release of 1989 TV and its record breaking first day streaming numbers and since 2020, Taylor’s releases have reach an astronomical level that already put her ahead of her peers since her first 1m opening back in 2010 with Speak Now.

Following her is Beyoncé, an artist who debuted about 7/8 years before Taylor. Both artists are the omnipresent multi generational female artists of our times, still able to get hits and compete with new crops of artists since their debut. However the difference between Taylor and Beyoncé’s numbers are considerable.

I don’t know if this question has ever been asked but what does Beyoncé genuinely need to have big streaming numbers, therefore big units/sales like Taylor? Her biggest being 2016’s Lemonade 653k.

Actually caring about charts and numbers.

i know people take this kinds of threads as shade but i'd be interesting to see what people think she could do to reach those numbers, because ST and Lemonade clearly show she has the potential, or at least had it before the streaming era.

The GP is tired of these writing camp’d, soulless projects. All the big newbies atm are singer songwriters. It’s never going to happen for her tbh. She’s not ever gonna be seen as a “real artist” by the majority of ppl, just a product, don’t hate me, it’s just the truth

Your fave just dropped her third album of the past year and Beyoncé is still the first thing on your mind? :gayoncecat1:

All you’re doing is projecting your opinion onto the masses and presenting it as fact. Maybe it helps you sleep at night but it’s extremely delusional :celestial5:

GP is dumb and "majority of people" opnion means ****. Beyoncé is one of the people that care the most about quality in pop musique these days, most of her work in the past decade has widespread acclaim etc, youre in denial if you think otherwise.
