Beyoncé has never really had huge numbers. She has always been behind several other popgirls in album sales and in single sales. Though she has a great longevity and tends to sell her music over time. No big peaks but some good longevity. She won't have a 1M debut but to be fair she does not need it.

ST did over 600K in 3 days just from iTunes. Lemonade with only 4 days

Lucky for Beyoncé has outsold & outgrossed every female from her peer group without a million debut :gaycat2:

Did the Lemonade 800k include Tidal fraudulent streams?

She can't, she doesn't have Taylor Swift cultural impact

I don’t see how Taylor impacted culture but Beyoncé’ has not :rip: Taylor might be a commercial giant but as far as cultural impact goes she pales in comparison to Beyoncé by a lot.

At her commercial peak, I’m not sure she came close to 1m as a solo artist, so why would she be able to at this point??

And that’s fine, not everyone can have everything, just Taylor has those 1m opening weeks, but is still looking and sounding like that as a live performer.

:deadbanana2: the fact that that's the truth too

her music also isn't safe enough, same with her image, and... she's not white

Beyoncé doesn't need no 1M debut. Everybody has a different strong point that the others can't reach.

Rerecord Sasha Fierce and push Smash Into You as a single

Putting out 60 ways to buy the same album might do the trick.

Jokes aside, all these recent threads comparing Taylor to Madonna, Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna need to stop. Its embarassing. Celebrate Taylor's achievements without putting down other female artists.

The random lies when she sold more albums than other MPG except for Taylor and Adele :rip:

She sold also the most singles besides Rihanna :rip:

From CM:
1) Madonna 146m pure albums sales + 64m other LP + 75m physical single + 42m digital single = 327 million

2) Rihanna: 33m pure albums sales + 1.2m other LP + 3.6m physical single + 257m digital single = 295 million

3) Mariah: 116m pure albums sales + 31.2m other LP + 37m physical single + 50m digital single = 234.2 million

4) Taylor: 56.5m pure albums sales + 10.3m other LP + 0.32m physical single + 162m digital single = 229.1 million

5) Beyonce: 37m pure albums sales + 6m other LP + 4m physical single + 164m digital single = 211 million

Love you skipped the 3 comments saying it wasn't Lemonade but ST...when Tidal didn't exist. But let's see the next excuse or insult you throw....

Well I hope she can do it but her music and brand feels limited to a spesific community and few group of people for past few years compared to Taylor Swift. Her image and relatability also not as strong as Swift for the new generations. I truly believe she can have a +1m debut, but I dont know how I think she may need a huge pr campaing and more gp friendly songs and use few nostalgia elements. Like if she cant do it then who will?

But also she doesnt need to do any gimmicks to reach 1m debut. Even if she flopped really hard with her new project that wont effect her in any aspect. She will continue to be a living legend. :falcon:

Duet album with Taylor

It's not going to happen but it's fine because it's not relevant in the grand scheme of things.

Album longevity/quality >> fw sales.

I'm so glad I'll never know what my life would've been like without @beyonce's influence. The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit.

Her resilience and versatility. She's been a guiding light throughout my career
