Also these are cut out songs of albums with already 20 tracks. Are not supposed to be innovative or to get into new territories. Of course that would happen with a new album.

Midnights is different from any Taylor Swift album. Lover Is more similar and 1989 and even most of rep than midnights to 1989. 

So i don't know what's fading in their collaboration since folklore Is different from red and Midnights was a fresh pop territory for her very different from lover, rep and 1989.

 

Meanwhile the collaborations with max Martin was already stale after 1989 cause max Martin is a better producer in his own lane but this lane Is very limitated. With antonoff you can make different things
