It's because nowadays metacritic scores are far more reflective of the PR around an artist and not the musical quality which is why BGKC and TAS get these inflated scores. You're telling me these poorly mixed songs are all 10/10? 8 1

To be fair, fans would actually be the ones that are the most likely to not enjoy the re-recordings. We've been sitting with the OG for so long and getting really used to them. For the fans that are listening to each song purposefully looking for things different, they will obviously be complaining. The public at large doesn't do that.
