Alex Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 that video was not it… maybe they’re saving the choreography for on and on

Shes the type of artist that needs her debut to be a hit right away or she may not get this time back She already has a hit and a bunch of performances that showcase her talent. She’s pretty, works hard and makes good music. She’s already booked for Coachella and some big festivals in Europe. Saying that she’s gonna flop because she didn’t add coreography in a video and you didn’t like it is just an overreaction, she’s doing more than fine. But then again, she’s not trying to be the next MPG just because a song became a hit, she’s not making pop music.

Clearly she wants to be a MPG
Jay L Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Yeah the video was cute but it doesn't have much replay video...She looks amazing though! lol I'm guessing/hoping she'll release a new single/music video with the album to keep the hype up

GeminiCat Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Winning her first Grammy before her first project/debut is just whoa 1
gui_eda Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Deserves so much the Grammy, congrats! BTW, Truth or Dare is a smash!
orange22 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Congrats on the Grammy I thought the TOD video was cute not sure the song really calls for a huge choreo moment
KatyPrismSpirit Posted February 5 Posted February 5 after the grammy win she better come HARD this album. eyes are back to her again 2
Automatic Posted February 5 Posted February 5 So... the album has officially been pushed back to March 22nd. It was being reported by several sources and I thought they could be wrong but it's on Apple Music now. https://music.apple.com/us/album/tyla/1717680174 I don't understand what her team is doing. Maybe they're going to push another song in March that they feel is a guaranteed smash? Let's hope the date doesn't move again.
Jay L Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Not a pushback...if her label has a plan to promote a big song or something then it's ok but the album needs to be out by the end of March. Her tour starts the 21st
GeminiCat Posted February 5 Posted February 5 She was filming a video in Barbados with her choreographer and entire creative team in Barbados last month so that tells me the label has a new dance single they want to push as the Water follow up before the album (TOD stays an album track). March 1 seemed perfect though and it seems awkward to drop the album right as she's going on tour. Hopefully the push back also means they're waiting on more features and have more promo rollout stuff lined up I guess. 1
KatyPrismSpirit Posted February 5 Posted February 5 they dont wanna get overshadowed by ariana and probably want to make truth or dare bigger. 1
99sandthe2000s Posted February 5 Posted February 5 (edited) excited to see one of those hype stickers placed on the CD "Grammy Award Winning Song, Water" Edited February 5 by 99sandthe2000s 2
GeminiCat Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I wasn't expecting her to have physicals ready .. Will they be shipped the week of March 22? If so, push back makes more sense now. Very pretty.
