Using your metric I guess their era was also bigger than any post-1989 Taylor era? :deadbanana2:

? No? :rip:

Midnights, Lover and reputation all outstreamed. folklore will very soon. All have outsold :rip:

That person was directly comparing Taylor's 2019, where she was the #1 artist in the world, to Rihanna's 2016, where she was beat out by 3 hit wonders Twenty One Pilots. Despite this, that Rihanna fan said Rihanna was stomping commercially while Taylor was floundering :rip:

Yes, she can.

Certain Swifties: ‘Taylor is an anomaly, nobody is as big as her and they will never be’

The same Swifties: ‘Why is Rihanna not as big as Taylor? Why couldn’t she catch up to her?’

So make up your mind. Which one is it mama… anyway lemme go back to streaming Rated R and Reputation and enjoy both icons!

Dragging Rihanna for selling makeup and panties and turning it into a multi-billion dollar empire is a new low..

But it's okay though, not everyone appeals to a wide range of demographics, OR has the range to venture out so they stick to being one-dimensional and instead, capitalise on what they do best... which is putting out 20+ versions of the same album and leeching off of your fanbase. Let's hope her directorial debut goes well because last time i checked, the relentless PR campaign for that 'short film' failed miserably when the Oscars said NO :rip:

Enjoy those ventures lol.

I'm so glad the Navy are able to appreciate and cherish their Fenty products in the same way that the rest of us do with our fave's musical (or other artistic) output and tour dates:ryan3:

Edit - for the Navy, does putting on some Fenty lip gloss from a new tube give you the same rush that I get when listening to a new Taylor song?

Pfftt :oh:

Imagine using this alleged "lack of range for other ventures" as a drag. chile.

The constant gaslighting of Gaga by some members on this site, as clearly exposed here in this thread :rip:

nnnn yeah I just checked and saw that I got my numbers from October 2022 :gaycat7:

I think my point still stands though, that reputation is doing 2x the numbers each week and Lover is doing almost 4x the numbers each week.

Why is that surprising? She is everywhere and Rihanna is nowhere to be seen. :skull:

It's like she has not grossed almost half a billion dollars in concerts up until now... lol

The fact that she has not released in so long makes it hard to determine, in one way or the other...

So stop diminissing her feats, and stop comparing to a person who has released 10 albums since the last time Rihanna released. They cannot be compared...

But P!nk aint selling music anymore and has stadiums full, same as Ed Sheeran, same as Madonna, same as Coldplay, and even Beyonce to some point....

Do not act like Taylor is the only one selling out Stadiums...

When currently there is a buoyant climate for tours in general, that 10-15 years ago was unthinkable

gotta love the Hive who has been getting dragged through the mud by the Swifties all year still taking the time to shade Rihanna in here :rip:

the weakest links

The same hive that showed up when their fav was on tour, not every fanbase does :eli:

I live in Denver and she would sell out Empower Field within hours tbh! I’d loooove to see her in the dead of summer like Eras back in july

Same as 95% of US cities. 95% of European cities. 95% of australian and NZ cities, 90% of south american cities and 75% of asian cities. Even a lot of african cities would sell out.

Even if some fanbases want to diminiss her touring power.

On topic, yes she can.

She has the hype and is really popular.  People would show up.

Rihanna can definitely repeak tour wise and sell stadiums but not with the numbers of Beyonce's and Taylor's. Even Lana just had her first $5M grossing 65K capacity stadium sold out in Mexico recently.

Posted

Beyonce has WEAK streams even with active Era but she's a solid Touring Force.

P!nk is doing mehhhsales and streams but she's a Touring Force.

Ed Sheeran flopped but still can sellout STADIUMS.

Coldplay flopped recently but still selling out Stadiums..

Gaga just did Vegas and frontloaded Era but she toured Stadiums..

So, can Rihanna do it??

The common thing the acts I listed above have is that they transitioned from Arenas to Stadiums gradually and put their name on the map as "Touring Act".. i think, none of the acts I mentioned did Stadium Tour out of the gate..

Rihanna already did some stadium dates before.. she can start like what Gaga did, select cities with huge Rih demand accdg to her history and sales/streams stats.. she's an established act and a legend, so I believe she can do it but not 50-100 NFL Stadium Dates right away.. maybe in the future, if she succeeds

But to answer the question: YES, SHE fvckin absolutely CAN.. but just because SHE CAN, SHE WILL

Like girl, where is the new music?

REN out grossed your favs total touring history! You can keep your Spotify stats. If you’re going to post ****, you will get it back.

Even Karol G can fill stadiums these days, the touring industry is wildly different from when Rihanna was still active in music. She can definitely pull off at the very least a Chromatica-esque tour.

I don't think she can, not because she isn't able, but because her attitude of being always later to concert, bad promotions and bad management, as well I doubt she even like touring. Her catalogues and stage present can easily sell stadiums but everything else is blocking that.
