istan4badgalriri Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 She’s at the peak of her relevancy, the GP ate up her Super Bowl performance and the demand for tours is higher than ever nowadays so yes
lonnie Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 The only time she's ever sold out stadiums in the U.S. is when she toured with Eminem, while I don't doubt touring has gotten bigger since and that she can do really well on tour I don't know how her American dates can sell out in certain places if its stadiums. She can easily sell out stadiums in Europe, S. America and South Africa. I can't say for sure about any other place. But she really doesn't need to a full stadium tour, she can do arenas and a few stadiums and still get a good touring gross.
Solaria Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 She should do an arena tour with her full catalogue + R9 songs. It would sell out like hot cakes, ESPECIALLY in Europe. Whew, the fight for tickets would be brutal here
Magdalene Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 man I wish she didn't already have a tour already called the Diamond Tour because an eras-tour like setlist celebrating her #1's and top ten smashers would be so fun in a stadium setting
flashfox Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Is she ever going to tour again is the bigger question.
ImsoLOUD Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Yes. and at some of the girls in here bringing up "performance skill(s)" as if that's what's selling tickets these days 1 8 2
BnPac Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 I don't see why not. The break, the hype, the hits plus the SB make it all very likely.
Blue Rose Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 No. But she can do some arenas in the big cities. She’s not a touring force and that’s okay

Gaga did stadiums in Asia, Europe, and North America w/o merging into arenas + her health impacts her ability to do an ongoing 50+ stadium tour. And Beyonce is only touring Europe & USA, does that make her tours less impressive than Gaga's? Edited October 23, 2023 by Artistofthedecade 1 7 1 1
Hallad173 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 I feel like people are thirsty enough that if that was the only way to see her, she could have a sold out tour. I don’t think that demand would be sustained unless she’s really overhauled her performance style.

Sweetie, Gaga’s stadiums in the US were baseball stadiums, not real football stadiums, P!nk has always been more than capable of doing that And Gaga doing 2 dates in a small Japanese stadium does not mean she can do stadiums in “Asia” And let’s not get into Europe because P!nk obviously demolishes her there P!nk is a much bigger touring force than Gaga, learn to deal with it. OT: Rihanna can do a Gaga level stadium tour at best, she doesn’t have the demand or interest for a tour on the level of the women mentioned in the OP. 1 6
politeone Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 She really could do a full on sold out stadium tour. She gets a lot of backlash from fans of other artists for some reason, but that woman is beloved among the general music loving crowd. I think Rihanna doesn’t have to switch up anything about her performance style, if she performs like she did in Rock in Rio then that’s more than fine and is certainly better than the biggest touring act right now. All she needs is a more polished and flashy tour, and that’s it. The Diamonds World Tour was incredible and proved that she has insane demand

GreatestLoveofAll Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Well considering her track record maybe not a full 40-date tour like renaissance but a few ones here and there will definitely sellout.

lonnie Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 And of course swifties have turned this thread into another dumb fight 5 1 2
Kassi Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 No. She’s not known for her performance ability (like Beyoncé). And since she’s been away from music, her connection with fans has deteriorated and isn’t guaranteed to move tickets (like Taylor). The hype of a comeback is simply not enough. Especially in this day and age where a whole concert ends up online after the first few dates. If she’s not bringing an experience, people simply won’t go.
