lol at anybody thinking a tv show performance in 2023 does anything for a career

... good that she was straightforward but that's honestly lame :deadbanana4: I don't think this would've been the last chance to perform on a talk show, I'd be super pissed if I was going to that show

maybe it's the behind the scenes networking that is the real opportunity here, rather than the performance

i dont know why else she would do this

True and im sure fallon will be kissing her behind after she did this ,she's basically making his show seem like its a huge deal, they will love her there

That is super lame to her fans, Fallon won't do anything for her career overall and it is not like Prada will get any bigger than it is right now. Not to mention that the US won't touch it.

EDIT: Wait screaming there isn't even a discount offer for the other show. :rip:

You all sound so lame saying a performance won't do anything for her career, when in reality it will :deadbanana4:  Clips can be used for social media and it's great to have a televised performance of a hit. Be serious

It will get like 15 - 30k views on Youtube and that will be it.

Glad I got to see her a few days ago. She was amazing and if she had done this to me I would have been devastated.

Not ATRLers thinking they know more about what is beneficial for a singer than the people actually in the industry tho. :rip:

Do they pay the guests in those shows? I'm guessing the licence fee she might get for performing her music on national TV could be bigger than what she could have gotten with that concert. Or maybe she just said 'yay!, a free ride to NYC' :eli:

Maybe she simply doesn't want to say no to a program that could benefit her eventually and also will give her budget to produce a quality shot performance? Lol clueless

It doesn't not make it a shitty thing to do to your fans literally the same day as the show, followed by a tone deaf statement.

Imagine defending this. It could be the Grammys and it would still be the ******* pits behavior.

as if performing on Jimmy Fallon in 2023 helped anyone :toofunny2:

kind of yeah. It can open her up to a potential new audience :michael:

tv nowadays is just a bunch of niches since everyone can watch what they want

that being said she should do a free show for ticket holders or be a bad ***** and do do both but okay

She obviously wants to make it big, but this makes her look desperate (because she is) and it's not going to move the needle on her career at all. If anything, there's going to be backlash that's going to hurt her more than help her.

Backlash fr who exactly? The same backlash Adele was supposed to receive accordingly to ATRL for her Vegas shows? Which never happened btw

Not everyone is chronically online and wants to bash an artist for doing something inconvenient
