And let's not act like Coachella is not insane promo sis Either way, Gaga and Katy will never have the same success they once had so the drags from both bases need to stop already. No female star besides Taylor and Bey will be as big as they were, it's honestly a sad truth that needs to be realized here sooner than later.

IAMDOM Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Y’all are gonna send the Kats into a depression it’s obvious that she’s well on her way down but at least let them grieve in peace.

Even Bey is flopping with sales and streaming it's just that she's a huge celebrity and has that kind of status. Taylor will eventually suffer the same fate. They always do. There is usually one exception and in our generation it's Adele. Edited June 16, 2017 by Yassin512

Yeah Bey is definitely an albums artist only and that's due to her 'goddess' status. Taylor tho I'm not too sure, she seems to be pulling through. Her reputation just might as well ruin her in the near future however. Adele is Adele, she's always gonna be the biggest artist of our current time tbh. It's sad to see those days of 2011 aren't coming back but it is what it is and some fans really need to adjust their views on that and move on.

Well it's these silly stan wars that help fuel the downfall everytime. Gays are always bragging about supporting women yet are QUICK to take down pop girls that they don't stan for.

Rihanna's album was digital only in its first couple of weeks, not to mention the TIDAL sales glitch which made it chart a week earlier than its release. If it was available physically, digitally, and on all streaming platforms, she would've easily done 250K-300K. Doesn't matter though, because she won in the end.

Bey isn't flopping in any way. 3M+ pure album sales in 2017, and at $18 bucks per sale, which means she is making even more than average album sale, is far from it. Especially since she's been the industry for 20 years. She should've been faded, tbh. But speak whatever lies you must. And Bey is the #1 most streamed catalog female, and broke streaming records with Lemonade. Telling all kinds of lies. Almost at 4.5M SPS. That is not flopping. Edited June 16, 2017 by QueenBLadyG

People said she was ~over~ with ARTPOP, she released a not very radio friendly or poppy album with minimal promo before the release, no promoted single (yet), and she debuted with the 2nd highest female #s of the year. She had very solid first week numbers.

With country, a kind of sound that actually sells albums in 2017. HDD predicted 120k/140k after the first day, the only day that included the Amazon discount sales, and then the album ended up with 170k/201k after the rest of the week. Also, please tell us the Country promo she did leading up to Joanne.

I agree that flopping is maybe a strong word for her performance, but it's just not the same as it used to be for any female artist that is not Adele. If you look at Beyoncé's status in the industry and how many stans and casual fans she has, you would think she's selling 10M+ per era, but the tragic sales climate is affecting everyone especially female artists and Beyoncé is no exception.
