So you all been saying she's not a main girl and a flop for the last two months and now 200k isn't good because she's the queen of pop?

The Chainsmokers and Halsey both had a tour bundle and sold less coming off Closer.

Katy had CTTR and Bon Appétit. :rip: An ALBUMS ARTIST.

Are we really going to compare her to The Chainsmokers and Halsey now? :deadbanana2:

that's actually really decent for her with how this era is going

so decent it leads me to believe Capitol bought half that number just to save face for their biggest artist(?) but i'm a conspiracy theorist hihihi ?

So her touring and album-selling powers are only equal to The Chainsmokers now? :deadbanana2:

One could argue that the current "star power" of The Chainsmokers is pretty massive. They just had a 12-week number one and are practically ubiquitous on the radio. If Katy, as a 10 year old act who just took a three year break, can hold up to today's biggest trend in a very different musical landscape, then I think we can call that a success.

Yaaaaaaaaassssss!!!! :clap3:

This are really good numbers! This albums deserve this! Imagine if she had any promo Perfomance this week how could even have bigger numbers!

Not so bad considering TC had a #1 single going for Mariah's record and Katy had 3 flops.

people told me that chained was a hit tho.

Even 150k would have been great for Katy considering that she doesn't have a current hit and media has been hating her non stop this year :cm:

an album artist

People trying to drag when they expected way less than that, keep going

icyw, Chainsmokers 2nd week:

The Chainsmokers (Disruptor/Columbia) 50-55k, 17-20k

So if they had the same pattern her 2nd week would be 30k pure sales :michael:

sle katheryn, now she needs to release hey hey hey and deja vu as singles so that the album can have consistency.

Her tickets are expensive and people had to redeem their copies, and we still don't know how much of the sales came from tour bundle. No matter how you see it, this is good number.

I'm surprised. She DEFINITELY isn't over. Those are some good pure sales.

Wow this is great.
