Aethereal
I think IOP did more in US while Pink Friday did more internationally. For US, I don't have data to back this up but Pink Friday must be below 4.5M (I would guess 4.2M) units in America while IOP should be over 5M as of late 2022. That is not taking in account international sales. As for my opinion I think it is a very close shot WW so I am undecided. Odette Violet
PF for Super Bass alone for me. The song was literally like everywhere Miss Onika Maraj did that Edited October 7, 2023 by Odette Violet
Sheep
If we start including guest verses on other projects and general popularity PF era is in a completely different league and it's an unfair comparison. cousin_skeeter
375k & 2x platinum in pure sales>>>> Nicki did in the tail end of the sales era what most female rappers couldn’t do at a time when rap sales were at their peak.
Cain
Album wise it’s obviously IOP like there’s no competition there Era wise I think it’s PF, like on top of the album she had Monster at the time, was suddenly everywhere and on everyone’s songs, she had European hits with David, etc 4

GoodGuyGoneGhetto
IOP. • Bigger Singles • Bigger Album Units • Bigger Streams • More Acclaimed • More Awards Won, including a GRAMMY. That’s a mere fact and you’re lying if you say otherwise. That said… ”Super Bass” is arguably more famous than any IOP single but it had an 8 year head start. 10 2
Relampago.
IOP probably wins in numbers but PF is just way more remembered and impactful despite being well over a decade old
suburbannature
Anyone saying Pink Friday is lying to themselves. Cardi ended almost all of Nicki's records with a single era. 3 1

KatyPrismSpirit
Invasion Of Privacy was probably the bigger album with measurable success but let's be real: Nicki's success only continued to grow GLOBALLY after Pink Friday while Cardi B's success started to decrease more and more to the point she has become basically a non-factor only like 4 years after her debut. Bongos, her streak of flops and her INABILITY to release a sophomore album only proof this! Pink Friday also still holds the record for second highest female rap debut ever (only behind Lauryn Hill), the album has a Diamond single and is eligible for 5x Platinum in the USA. Pink Friday was still a huge commercial success.

We'll see how Cardi next album will do, Cardi has yet to bring the big guns. Her late performance, as mentioned, has been alarming though.
KatyPrismSpirit
Cardi B is deep fried. Bongos being a flop is the proof in the pudding. If a GLORILLA feature is the biggest thing you put out in the last three years, something is going very wrong!
GreatestLoveofAll
well im undecided too. Cardi has no steam now clearly but in that era she was everything she needed to be and more. in terms of numbers i think IOP has the upper hand tbh but PF was by far more iconic.
