Orsay Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 The Wire is too straight male coded for me, it just couldn't hold my interest
Mordecai Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Breaking Bad - it's SO slow and honestly outside of Pinkman and Gus none of the characters are that interesting. Can't believe I watched this for 4 seasons just bc people called it amazing Succession - should've been right up my alley but I didn't find it that interesting Westworld - amazing concept, poor execution Veep - not funny at all and pretty much every sitcom ever, none of them are funny enough to be worth watching
lillavend3r Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Covid still a thing? Cause there's a lot of tasteless b¡tches here! 2 1 3
PatrickGray.12 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Great forum topic. Mine are Succession The Crown The Handmaid’s Tale Game of Thrones
fememeist Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Only Murders in the Building after S1. It really should’ve been just a limited series.
LustSpell Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Breaking Bad. AWFUL and slow. Painful watch and I literally gave up at the beginning of S4.
Into The Void Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Game of Thrones - just too many characters Orange is The New Black - i saw like seasons 1 & 2 but episodes became so long and tiring and I gave up Legion- this show is such a mindfuck i tried 3 episodes but had no idea what was going on

Navy4Life Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 I tried to watch Breaking Bad about 5 times and I always just randomly stop somewhere in the middle. Will never understand why are people so obsessed with it.
GraceRandolph Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Friends. I don't really watch a lot of prestige TV though.
TROJAN Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 AHS. I’m confident that had it not been Emma on Delicate, they would’ve potentially casted me since I was literally in LA for auditions and I could’ve stopped by had my agent not insisted otherwise.
genetic fail Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 The Bear. I watched three episodes and was bored af 1

His International success hasn't been that big Then sopranos and breaking bad, i enjoyed It and i can understand they were a new kind of production for television, but they seems to me like the film Bros of television, these serie overrated cause they are basically the inspired by Scorsese and coppola and tarantino TV shows. A Rip off of the new Hollywood cinema without anything really new from what that cinema already made. I have loved more mad men or the wire. It's funny you're saying this, because my issue with that show is its too English lmfao. The writing courtesy of the creator is definitely more rooted in Englands style, they are even using British slang, and they are first generation Anglo-Americans, with a Scottish father and English mother. I found there was a disconnect with that show for me, but I did like it. I kind of get what you're saying, and I do think The Wire and Mad Men did more as far as what the medium of television is capable of (Twin Peaks as well), but I think you being a bit hard on The Sopranos lmfao. It still holds up because of the writing and character work, although its definitely influenced by those earlier Mob works, its serialized nature + James Gandolfini's nuanced performance will always be relevant. Sopranos writers room is responsible for Mad Men directly.
midnightdawn Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Veep. The shtick of the stupid and incompetent politician got old after a couple of episodes.
dussel_06 Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 The final season of The Leftovers. Ugh I can’t even get through the first two episodes. Bu somehow it’s just one of the most acclaimed hbo show ever.
Chemist Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 The Americans and Homeland. Maybe spy thrillers are not my thing
Jaguarqueef Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Parks & rec, The Office, Friends. The only sitcom I’ve ever liked was probably Modern Family and even then I only watched it because I was severely depressed. Game of Thrones is too medieval and dim to be interesting for me, The Walking Dead never went anywhere, Rick and Morty’s voice acting irked me, South Park’s animation is so rubbish. I do think more gays should give The Sopranos a chance, it’s surprisingly nuanced for what I thought would be a simple gangster series. I especially like the therapy scenes.
Topmaster 2 Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Breaking Bad the most boring and obvious TV series ever made
