perfillusion Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 You can only scream theatrically over pop songs with bad lyrics and have an incompetent team stuck in 2010 for so long until you pull a Smile. Is that what awaits Gaga if/when she releases another studio album? 5 13 12
enchanted0 Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 No. But probably will do worse than Witness 3 2
Kayseri Mantisi Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 this time she'll switch BLACKPINK with BTS and Ariana Grande with SZA probably so no. she always has some tricks to make it seem like she's successful on her own. 5 1 21 3 18
kexin Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 nah, it’s a 100k+ debut guaranteed if vinyl is ready by release date.
Kill Me Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 No tour/merch bundles = No 100k+ first week sales She'll do something close to 70k.
Funnyfatty Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Well her last album had potential. It opened with bigger numbers than Artpop joanne and asib during covid and everything that happened that week in the US. She lost all of that hype for sure. Chromatica could have been huge but 3 years later she still has promises she doesn’t keep like that stupid chromatica ball. She lost a huge part of her fanbase and i see her just as a liar tbh. I will give her next album a listen but she is not an artist i can respect tbh. Hopefully she flops so she can gracefully release music with old dinosaurs. 4 1
lonnie Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Goodness I didn't know/remember Smile's opening numbers I looked it up and couldn't believe it I think Gaga still has a big enough fanbase for that to happen just yet maybe in 10-20 more years to come but not now.
Cruel Summer Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 I don’t think that’s very likely. Gaga still has a relatively dedicated fan base and a higher public profile with continued well-received acting endeavors. 3
Popular Post thismoment Posted October 2, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2023 Smile was a buzz album and a gift for the fans, it doesn’t really count as a proper release 2 17
vale9001 Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Gaga (like bey, taylor or adele) will never have a disastrous first week. 9 1 1
brooklyndaddy Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 She hasn’t served since 2013 but since she’s not a risk taker despite her trying to make us believe so, she will return with a Million Reasons-esque power ballad which will probably do well because the GP likes simple. Think Adele but more screaming lol. Praying though that she teams up with an AG Cook or even Oneothrix Point Never type figure for a cohesive album of refined bangers 4 2 1 6
torontowest91 Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 When is it expected? Will it be a pop album?
Cryptique Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 with the way she's treating her fanbase for the past years, i won't be surprised honestly 6 2
Into The Void Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 I'm not sure I think and I mean based on releases lately she could do maybe 80k or maybe 180k. I honestly dont know anymore
AmericanIdol Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 If it's another jazz album it will Love For Sale debuted with less units than Smile
Popular Post Reginald Posted October 2, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2023 Hold Up (Wait a Minute) -- Not Gaga stans posting OGH threads It feels like there's been a "disturbance in the force" of this fanbase ever since that damn Nurtec ad 1 20
Popular Post State of Grace. Posted October 2, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) As much as many of you want to see it, Gaga will never flop that hard or have a disastrous bomb like that. She still has a loyal fanbase (although they've been dropping like flies) and they will show up for her (Pop) releases forever. Call it stockholm syndrome but that's a fact and her chokehold on the gays will always make them check out her work. Gaga's brand is simply bigger and that's why she's still able to sellout stadiums even if Chromatica wasn't necessarily your typical smash era. Edited October 2, 2023 by State of Grace. 16
ToxicKiss92 Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 If she goes country rock route she'll be ok. If she will release the same dated dance pop sound then it's over.
The Witch Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 She kinda pissed half of her fanbase off this year, so maybe. 4 1 1
PMKARDASHIAN Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) “Scream theatrically” OT: no I don’t believe it will Edited October 2, 2023 by PMKARDASHIAN 4

Solaria Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Hell no, Stefani Germanotta has the most loyal fanbase ever, the minute that we get our hopes up even a tiny bit that we might get a decent era we switch like ******* 1 9
