She "didn't mean it" but tagged SZA to make sure she saw it. She got the attention she wanted and then after SZA dragged her in her DMs (even saved ol girl the embarassment of doing it publicly), she then runs to tiktok posting their whole convo for clout LOL these teenagers these days are something else.

and of course SZA has a bunch of things to do and this girl is 1 idiot out of many but she CLEARLY had time that day.

That fan is an obvious clout chaser and an a**hole

The only reason SZA was arguing with her for hours in the first place is because the fan was deliberately being obtuse and close-minded. For me, SZA sounded concerned about her since it seems like the fan does not realize she's in the wrong and thus she's trying so hard to make the fan understand that what she did wasn't cool to anyone, whether it was towards a celebrity or non-celebrity. But all of that went over the "fan's" head, being narrow-minded and trying to paint SZA as the attacker and herself as the victim instead of just admitting she was in the wrong.

Please it's giving kids learning about a new word, and using it in any way they can in a conversation even though it's misused :dies:

When will these celebrities ever learn to just ignore the negativity on social media? Like damn, that's part of being a celebrity. Because if they engage, they will always be the bad guy, no matter what the situation is.

Some people are stronger than others. Telling all people (celebrities) to just suck it up and "get over it" feels more harmful because people handle stress/anxiety differently. You can't just put different people in the same box. Also, none of us here are celebrities so we can't really speak in behalf of them, especially in dealing with online hate and criticism

I respect SZA for standing her ground and maturely communicating her feelings on the matter. The fan seems entitled.

“I’m just an 18 year old”

It’s so fascinating to me how Gen Z has this obsession with infantilizing themselves.

Too lazy to play. Hope they argued on how to beat inflation and stuff.

Anyway, I thought SZA was really touching cause she expressed respectfully her feelings with an open heart and tried her best to explain them to that annoying fan who found nothing better than "exposing" her some likes :ace:

I’m so tired of people saying “I’m just 18!! I’m just 19!!!” Etc. Like in this instance, you’re not a little 4 year old. You’re a shitty human being. And this is coming from a 20 year old.

The fact that she made a 3 min video about this years later shows that SZA is right
